Diligent One Platform Manufacturing Reviews & Insights

As a part of the internal audit team for Franklin Electric, we use the Diligent One Platform for performing our annual audits in addition to utilizing robots and ACL to perform continuous monitoring projects and data analyzing.

Prior to moving into internal audit, I used to work in public accounting and the audit software we used wasn't user friendly and very difficult to learn and use efficiently. Coming to Franklin and being introduced to Diligent One Platform, I learned the platform at an efficient pace and have been able to assist on projects that have been rather easy to complete thanks to the platform.

Currently, we are only utilizing ACL/Diligent One Platform for Audit purposes. We have begun extending functionality beyond with python. We use it to pull populations and selections for the auditors. We are rapidly evolving our usage and creating more and more complex scripts for both IT and Financial Audits. Currently, we have API's to 3 systems with intentions to expand within the next year.

Diligent One Platform Robots are wonderful, however, the SaaS web interface has room for improvement. Regular issues arise with time-outs and delays. The format for projects is great. It is an easy way to roll projects over year over year and be prepared for the next. However, there is not an actual tool to do so and a script must be updated for each new version's changes.

Diligent One Platform provides support for organizing better the process and key controls addressing significant risks, also permits monitoring the efficacy in the Internal Control System. Also, it is a great tool for distributing policies to users so they will be aware of them and comply with their provisions, promoting a better Control Environment.

Administrative matters such as timesheets are very helpful, summary of findings categorizing issues by teams, projects, severity, processes, and much more.
Reporting for users are presented in an easy way and with the necessary information for process and controls owners.

All the features in Diligent One are not available in versions in LATAM, this needs to be corrected.

We often utilize the platform during our meetings. We replaced paper-based agendas with digital ones, improving efficiency and security. The platform's real-time analytics allowed us to swiftly analyze financials, enhance decision-making, and work on cost savings opportunities. Additionally, its automated audit trails ensured seamless compliance tracking during our internal ISO audit and avoided firefighting for documents.

We used to track almost all documentation, and with practical usage and trained team members, we have now integrated it with our project management, which allows us to maintain records of discussion, processes, changes in processes, developing BRDs, ISO documents, and with all versions also helped to version control of our projects. We've integrated with PowerBI for continuous monitoring and to provide insight to boarder audience. We've recently enabled trigger management for our KPI that helps us to keep track monitor, and act proactively before a disaster.

Majority of our team uses as an interface to track all of our sox controls and related details. Further, we submit our control evidence monthly to support our year end audit on controls over financial reporting. I've recently begun exploring some of the advanced features such as analytics and other tools to support our growing internal audit function.

Product is a great tool to serve as a central point to compile and document sox controls. This allows transparency across the team and teammates to edit and view progress. The tool also provides an interface that will make it easy for the internal audit team to track and compile control requests. I particularly like how it lets all of the control owners take ownership of their controls. I am currently exploring some of the advanced tools that support testing and the accuracy and completeness of our data, which i'm very excited to explore.

The Internal Audit department is utilizing it to document its annual SOX assessment and other IA activities. It helps provide a central repository for documentation and supports collaboration, facilitating on-demand reporting. The risks, controls, procedures, results, and observations are all maintained in HighBond.

It’s well suited for managing projects, SOX, audit, or other, where you need collaboration and workflow capabilities. It creates some nice simple charts and reports (bar charts, stacked pie charts), which export nicely in different formats, which can be shared with others. You are allowed to grant contributor access to others you work with to upload information, but you are also able to request info without granting someone a contributor license.

Simple and easy way to provide data analytics and avoid the repetitive process of your organization. HighBond tool is having the ability to automate and possibility to include audit data from different sources. It helps to analyze the real time reports for better decision making. Making dashboards is easy, we can check the regulation and risk profile properly.

HighBond platform can easily control manual tasks, security risk, and manage all compliances perfectly and it is a user-friendly user interface. We are currently using the tool to monitor various analytics SCM, functions, location, and different platforms. I like helpful community and live chat support to resolve our query as early as possible. Performance on script execution is good.

We use HighBond by Galvanize in doing the tedious analytics part of our audit works. We use it in our department in our engagements throughout the company. HighBond (formerly ACL) aids us in automating data analysis. It made us more efficient in executing our work, and helped us run more audit works in a year to year basis. Before, some of our analytics works would consume us weeks/days to finish. But with HighBond we are able to finish analytics with just a click and a few minutes, then we are done.

HighBond by Galvanize is well suited for those who are executing large data analytics. It can process large data within seconds or a couple of minutes. It is really helpful, especially if the data you're doing analytics on is extracted from different platforms. HighBond can be used to have a link to a specific tool (e.g Active Directory) and it would be able to extract the data needed for you. If your engagements are more on process review, this is not the tool for you.
