Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Diligent One Platform use for risk management, frameworks and audits.

Pros

  • User friendly
  • Easy configurations
  • Good management

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Diligent One Platform is really super usefull when handling huge sets of data, allow us to transform and process data in a really elastic way, and self document in a step by step basis, making it cristal clear for auditing and also facilitate to understand or reproduce data flows, critical in order to have solid processes.

Pros

  • Document data processes
  • Easy to audit
  • Handles huge sets of data smoothly

Cons

  • Integration with market applications could be better
  • Graphics for data is way backlevel compared to other solutions

Likelihood to Recommend

We have a critical process, that is deeply analyzed by auditors, based on the input of four different sources. Putting all that info together, in a common and simple language demanded significant effort and was hard to sustain over the time. Diligent One Platform quickly allows us to create a small prototype and scalate it in no time

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a part of the internal audit team for Franklin Electric, we use the Diligent One Platform for performing our annual audits in addition to utilizing robots and ACL to perform continuous monitoring projects and data analyzing.

Pros

  • The organization within the projects platform creates easy navigation of our audits.
  • The robots are great for us to analyze data across all of our locations.
  • I especially love the questionnaires and reporting features. We have been able to obtain valuable feedback for future projects and improvements for our own department.

Cons

  • It has been frustrating when the interface has changed as it gets new ownership and having to adjust and find where different tasks have moved.
  • Instances where it has been rather laggy or deleted information we had input.

Likelihood to Recommend

Prior to moving into internal audit, I used to work in public accounting and the audit software we used wasn't user friendly and very difficult to learn and use efficiently. Coming to Franklin and being introduced to Diligent One Platform, I learned the platform at an efficient pace and have been able to assist on projects that have been rather easy to complete thanks to the platform.

Good Product that has huge upside and future

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Currently, we are only utilizing ACL/Diligent One Platform for Audit purposes. We have begun extending functionality beyond with python. We use it to pull populations and selections for the auditors. We are rapidly evolving our usage and creating more and more complex scripts for both IT and Financial Audits. Currently, we have API's to 3 systems with intentions to expand within the next year.

Pros

  • Data integrity
  • API Connections
  • GUI to CUI command generation

Cons

  • Inclusion of Python within ACL
  • Speed and Error Trapping and Correction of Diligent One Platform (Highbond) Site. We experience large numbers of 404 errors and delays
  • Some actions require repeating actions and it can become cumbersome

Likelihood to Recommend

Diligent One Platform Robots are wonderful, however, the SaaS web interface has room for improvement. Regular issues arise with time-outs and delays. The format for projects is great. It is an easy way to roll projects over year over year and be prepared for the next. However, there is not an actual tool to do so and a script must be updated for each new version's changes.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Diligent One Platform provides support for organizing better the process and key controls addressing significant risks, also permits monitoring the efficacy in the Internal Control System. Also, it is a great tool for distributing policies to users so they will be aware of them and comply with their provisions, promoting a better Control Environment.

Pros

  • Repository of internal controls reviews
  • Distribution of policies to users for their knowledge
  • Organize findings and classify them for reporting
  • Provide useful frameworks for compliance with Standards

Cons

  • Functions are not available in version for LATAM countries

Likelihood to Recommend

Administrative matters such as timesheets are very helpful, summary of findings categorizing issues by teams, projects, severity, processes, and much more.
Reporting for users are presented in an easy way and with the necessary information for process and controls owners.

All the features in Diligent One are not available in versions in LATAM, this needs to be corrected.

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SOX program administration and reporting. We have approx 800 key controls that are tested generally 2x per year. With Diligent One, we can easily report status and regular updates to stakeholders.

Pros

  • User access / rights control
  • Certain reporting (but cross-view reporting is a problem)
  • Real time updates

Cons

  • Time reporting vs budgets is terrible
  • Reporting in general is clunky / doesn't cross views - same prob exists in Activty Center
  • Latency
  • 302 survey workflows

Likelihood to Recommend

If a company's use case / process fits exactly into the platform, it's great. When you need to find workarounds, it's rough
