Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Digivante has been there to support our E-commerce team on larger projects for testing; their resource is vast and covers almost every scenario for devices and technology. They act as almost an extension of our own team and allow us to identify bugs and potential UX issues that we wouldn't have spotted on our own. Its been a valuable resource and we hope to continue to work closely with Digivante going ahead into 2021.

Pros

  • The Testing team is very thorough. Bug reports are easy to manage and very clear to understand which makes them easier to resolve.
  • Consultancy: Support is there for insight and roadmap guidance.
  • Easy to manage customer support portal, with clear a breakdown of issues raised to date, which measures site success by looking at how many 'high' 'medium' issues are resolved with each test over time, you can view this easily via their own analytics suite.

Cons

  • We've only touched the water with what this company has to offer so far. Potentially a minor adjustment to the customer portal, so it triggers email notifications for us as the client when there are required actions or comments on a ticket.

We've only really made use of the site health check and testing services, so I can't comment on other scenarios/services that Digivante offers at this time. Happy with the service so far.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Digivante has helped my team to supplement our manual regression and exploratory testing efforts. It has reduced our regression testing timeline.

Pros

  • Hundreds of testers worldwide
  • Detailed bug reports with screenshots and video attachments
  • Good client-business relationship

Cons

  • Timezone issues with us being in US and Digivante HQ being in London. I had to plan testing projects 1-2 days in advance to make sure we hit our target.
  • No help for test data creation. We had to do that on site and provide Digivante with test data for their testers.
  • Could not reach them on weekends. Had to plan a test cycle latest by Friday noon to get it slotted.

Digivante has been a great partner for our testing needs. They have consistently provided a fantastic service for our crowdsourced testing needs. Their ability to get a project off the ground in a matter of hours has been great in the fast-moving world of eCommerce.

I would highly recommend Digivante for crowdsourced testing as they have great knowledge and great device/OS coverage.
