Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We started using datapine as a transition

from traditional reporting tools like Excel and it has not disappointed us. The

software is very complete and requires little manual work. We can connect our

data sources and generate interactive financial reports for different purposes

in a matter of minutes. Overall, being able to consolidate our most important

performance metrics into interactive reports has made our analytics processes

way more efficient. The reports can be customized and translated into multiple

languages, something that has been particularly useful for us as a global

business that needs to constantly collaborate with teams and investors from

other countries.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Before using the datapine tool in our project, our whole analysis process was done involving several tools, some tools for generating queries, others tools for visualizing the data and generating reports. To solve this problem, we were searching for a tool that would let us automate the processes to cut down the some manual work and make our work more efficient. With the help of datapine tool, we were able to connect data sources easily and generate reports very easily in very less time with just a few clicks.

Pros

User interface.
Datapine tool has best data connectors that allowed me and my team to get all our internal and external sources of information in just one place without any problem.

Cons

The 14-days trial period is not fine to test all the software features.
In my team some members needs more time to get acquainted with the product so I would prefer more tutorials for better and fast understanding.

Our team wanted a software that can handle our data in a cloud setting and connect our data sources easily. The values that we got from Datapine cannot be compared with other any other tools Because datapine always focus on the best possible user experience and can certainly compete with other, even bigger softwares in the market.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Datapine was used to optimize internal reporting practices. It addressed the problem of ineffective reporting within the market research & product development department regarding the analysis results of market research studies. Instead of using Excel and PowerPoint files, we started implementing interactive business dashboards to make the reporting and sharing of results more efficient and interactive.

Pros

Intuitive user interface, especially within the analyzer (drag & drop).
Dashboard templates helped to create visually appealing dashboards.
Many different reporting options.
Customer support is really helpful.

Cons

Some advanced functions need SQL knowledge.

For someone like me, who had no real experience in using BI tools before, datapine suits quite well. Most of the features I was able to explore on my own, and their support was always really helpful (as well as the tutorials). In general, I was most impressed from their dashboard features. If you look for a software with detailed statistical analysis options, you maybe need to take another (additional) tool. My main use-case was the visualization and reporting of the analysis results, not the statistical analysis itself. This usually was done before with SPSS.
