Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used DataBees to get a daily updates list with leads. With this fast growing company we needed enough new leads to keep on contacting ourselves. Because we want to be in control we didn’t want to outservice the entire lead generation process. That’s why we started working with DataBees.

Likelihood to Recommend

In the beginning, it worked quite well, and we were receiving companies, contacts and other data that we didn’t have In our systems yet. Unfortunately, the quality became worse over time. If you’re a company with zero leads or zeros capacity of junior salespeople to do the work, DataBees is perfect to jumpstart your sales.

We used DataBees to tackle a large administration task that we didn't have the resource to cover. It was a labour intensive task involving the updating of our customer database and the creation of a linked dataset. Doing this work in house would have delayed our project and inconvenienced our customers.

Cons

  • It took a bit of time to explain the detail of our project, but it was time well spent
  • We had a change of lead researcher, which was initially a concern but caused no problem long term
  • Pricing is on the high side

Likelihood to Recommend

We chose DataBees as we had a large amount of personal customer data that needed to be transferred into an updated database and we did not have the staff to carry this out without jeopardising the timeline of our project. We explained the work in detail, received all data protection assurances and the work started. Having the upgraded database now allows us to work efficiently and manage our customer data appropriately.
We have only had one scenario with DataBees, therefore, cannot comment on where they would be less suited.

Great option for anyone looking to strengthen their sales development team

We used DataBees with the specific purpose of lead generation. Basically outsourcing our research and lead generation process with them and having a manager taking care of our account.

This allowed us to reduce significantly the amount of time our BDR were spending in doing research on LinkedIn and other platforms to approach potential customers.

  • You feel limited by the amount of hours in your package
  • The knowledge of our account lies in only one person on their team (manager)

If the cost of your BDRs is really high, I would highly recommend the use of DataBees to reduce your expenses. Their team is knowledgable and works as an extension of your organization. I highly recommend DataBees for anyone looking to strengthen their sales development team.
