All our staff use Dashlane Password Manager to store log-ins and passwords. We use it to share passwords for sites that require access by multiple staff members. As all our staff work remotely, Dashlane is ideal for securely sharing information with colleagues nationwide.
Pros
Safely store passwords.
Allows multiple types of access to shared passwords.
Streamlines logins' to sites, saving time and frustration.
Cons
Using the mobile app is not as streamlined as the desktop version.
Using the mobile app to access apps on my phone is not 100% successful.
Likelihood to Recommend
Dashlane works exceptionally well for managing access to important sites and makes it very easy to remove access when an employee leaves the organization. Since implementing it at work, I have purchased a family plan to use at home as well.

Our office shares multiple computers and health-protected data. Keeping track of many ever-changing passwords is impossible without a product like Dashlane. We have various users and can share passwords without needing to cut and paste or use inefficient methods.
Pros
Dashlane fills in passwords that are appropriate length and structure.
Dashlane helps us keep track of when a password was changed last.
Dashlane allows us to share with an off site employee without putting data as risk.
Cons
Updating a password and storing it seems to throw employees off. The timing is difficult to manage with some websites as to/when to save a new one.
Likelihood to Recommend
Dashlane is best suited for situations where multiple users need to log in to duplicate accounts repeatedly, and the passwords require security and frequent updates. If only one user needs a password to a website that does not contain PHR, the other free options work just as well to store passwords.

We use Dashlane to create complex, unique passwords for all accounts and to manage shared logins. The only password we need to remember is our master password, and let Dashlane's password generator do all the hard work of creating safe, complex passwords, saving them in our vault. It saves us time, but more importantly, keeps us safe.
Pros
Password Generator.
Password Health Tool.
Storing all login information.
Cons
SSO sign-in.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's great for scenarios where you have a shared login to an account. You can share the login credentials with other users. As an admin, you can see the password health scores of other users and help them improve their scores and security.

Primarily used for Development and Grant Writing as there are many portals that require one log in for the organization. This allows it to be secure versus storing passwords in a Word document or messaging them to each other.
Pros
Alerts you when a password is compromised.
Keeps all of your passwords in one place.
Allows you to share passwords with limitations.
Cons
Providing you an alert before it overrides a previous password.
Gives you a spot to make a note when you first save the password vs having to go back in. This is particularly needed for portals that all use the same base page (eGrants for example has multiple foundations using it, UT ID is another )
Likelihood to Recommend
I would say to consider if the cost is allowable in your budgets as there are free options but they have limitations.
I use Dashlane to manage passwords, securely keep notes, and manage payment methods for both my personal and business accounts. Dashlane helps secure our organizations passwords with their password security score.
Pros
Password management
Dark web monitoring
Secure password sharing
Notes/payment method management
Cons
Pops up in places that it’s not needed
Phone app doesn’t automatically change passwords
Likelihood to Recommend
Works great on pc/laptops, but the mobile app could use some additional features.

We've used Dashlane Password Manager at our org for about 2 years. I am an IT admin at our company. I feel a lot safer using this rather than a google chrome or firefox password manager. It helps a lot with the autofills and auto sign ins for many of our websites that we use daily.
Pros
Sharing passwords to other users or even vendors
the password generator is nice and easily customizable
Being able to use it for work and home use is a huge plus
Cons
always seems to break on firefox
Our in-house application it sometimes works on sometimes does not. Maybe because it runs over http not sure...
In my experience, Support is horrible. Getting help on something takes weeks. Please fix your support we are a business customer.
Likelihood to Recommend
In our experience, Support takes weeks to respond. Once had an issue were a user would change their master password and every sign in it said his password was wrong and we had to reset. The master password was not saving and everytime he closed his browser we had to change it again to get into the account. After emailing support for weeks we created him a new account and manually transferred passwords which took literal hours. It does its job as a basic password manager. Would love to see a Dashlane Password Manager pc application. Sharing passwords, password generator, and autofills all work great.
We provide Dashlane Password Manager to all employees to encourage them to use complex passwords and no re-used passwords. We frequently review the health scores from Dashlane Password Manager with employees to encourage them to keep scores in the 90s.
Pros
easily provides complex passwords
provides for a dark web scan
tracks and alerts re-used passwords
saves and tracks passwords for websites
Cons
sometimes add-ins are temperamental and don't always automatically open
interface process with websites sometimes interrupts sessions and user stores a browser saved password into Dashlane Password Manager by accident
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for people that access many many websites frequently and need to authenticate. Less appropriate for some of our people that only use a few web apps and we use single sign on. Their scores don't integrate well into our overall health because they do not keep enough passwords in Dashlane Password Manager.

We use it for keeping a hold of background passwords for Switches, Servers, etc. We also use it in our finance sector for login details to payroll applications. I personally use it for any passwords I need to keep a log of as part of my job in IT. It's also quite handy to make sure people are using secure passwords for sensitive information.
Pros
Being easily accessible to the right individual
Easy to use
Compatible among multiple platforms
Cons
It's a bit too easy for anyone to access the passwords on your computer, if you left it unlocked I mean
Speed of the application inside the web browser
Pricing
Likelihood to Recommend
It's quite good for passwords you need to access regularly that are unique and not particularly linked to yourself. Such as anything in the area of Networking. It might not be suited for using to fill out information about yourself as that tends to stuff up a lot of the time.
