We are using Credly for digital badging, and started using it in June 2021. As the Education Manager I am the primary user and administrator of the program. We are using it to issue educational program badges as well as badges for our membership and their involvement in various committees, on our Board of Directors and other membership related areas.
Pros
Easy to design badges
Great customer support
Lots of analytics available
Cons
If badges are linked or dependent on each other for earners, all need to be ready to launch at the same time.
Creating the metadata, as a new administrator of digital badging, is a little cumbersome. Takes a while to understand.
The upload process for issuing bulk badges is not difficult, but involves several steps that all need to be followed very specifically with no errors.

This is our first experience with a digital badging system, so as of now it seems to meet our overall needs. Credly is very widely known and utilized by many companies, so they are well established in the arena. Real time training is a plus, as is a dedicated Credly success manager.

We launched Credly this year for past and future credential holders. It provides an easy way to share and recognize the prestige of holding our credential. The positive feedback about this far exceeded our expectations. The most common comment is that a Credly badge has added value to the service we provide.
Pros
Ease of Use: Set Up - Very user friendly.
Ease of Use: Sharing - Can add it to emails, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
Credly badge is well known, so the reputation helped in the transition for our diplomates.
Cons
To revoke a badge and later upload is time consuming.

Very happy with the smooth rollout and the benefit and value added for our diplomates. Technical and process support is available for issues, concerns, and clarity for those seeking help. Reputation, ease of the initial starting batch, and being user friendly were all factors in choosing a digital badge that matched our goal, to expand the services we can provide.
I'm using Credly as a place to host my various certification badges to validate that they are legitimate. Credly is great because I can link my DigitalMarketer badges, Pragmatic Marketing badges, and many others. Some of my certifications were from past employment, which is great. Credly is portable, and goes with you throughout your career. Cool service!
Pros
Portable credentials
Integrations with multiple prominent companies like DigitalMarketer and Pragmatic Institute (through Acclaim)
Cons
Needs a single login for Acclaim and Credly
View Acclaim and Credly credentials on one account
Likelihood to Recommend
Everybody needs Credly and Acclaim if you're getting certifications. They aren't as useful if you aren't getting certifications, or if the educational program isn't supported. I wish Credly/Acclaim supported Open Badge, which means I have some certifications that aren't supported.
