Crazy Egg report helps us to identify the user interaction on our website. We have configured Heatmap on all our web pages. Through this report, we could identify the performance of each content and the user's interest. We do modify the pages based on this report and improved the user experience on our website.
Pros
It is easy to set up, manage and track the user's behavior on our website.
Helps us to improve user experience.
Using this tool, we could increase our website engagement and conversion rate.
Cons
It would be great if they share high level reporting
Expecting native app option

Easy to set up, and helps us to find the user behavior on our site and improve the conversion rate. The heatmap shows us where our users drop off on our site, which specific CTA gains more clicks, and which content should be modified to make our visitors stay on our site and make them purchase our product.
Crazy Egg has been a legacy tool that we've used, but I don't think we've used it to its fullest capabilities. With that said, we've used it to view heat maps of traffic (and we share those images in reports) and we've more recently used the session recording tool to observe users interact with our website in real-time.
Pros
Price is competitive
A/B testing
Cons
Session recording is not very reliable.
Hard to target some of the features, too broad.
Likelihood to Recommend
If you're looking to pair this with other analytics tools and you're price sensitive, this tool might work for you. Unfortunately, for what we need, I'm not sure it's the right tool for us alone. The session recording feature, which I have personally been using more, is not really giving a good sense of what users are doing. Sometimes I'm watching sessions and I see nothing, just a blank screen. Alone, it's not enough to give me a good picture. The price is competitive, though, and I'm sure if we were pairing it with our A/B testing tools, this would be helpful.
Crazy Egg helps us to visualize the areas of our website where users click the most. It helps us to know what users are interested in most on our website. Crazy Egg helps us to know where our users come from. It also gives us an idea of what section of our website is being interacted with most by our users. This is crucial business intelligence required to improve the effectiveness of our website.
Pros
It generates heatmaps based on what users clicked on the website. Helps you with a visual representation of the user's actions.
It generates a scroll map checking how far users scroll on pages and when they lose interest in the content.
It generates Overlay and Confetti to track a website's operation.
Takes a screenshot of the URL, collects all the clicks on it, and then projects it as a heatmap on the screenshot. This makes it easier to understand.
Cons
Sometimes the snapshots record fewer visits as compared to another page variant even when traffic is evenly distributed between the two.
Crazy Egg has limited heatmap visualizations.
Need to delete snapshots after it reaches the max limit. It happens fast if you are taking both mobile and desktop views of pages.

If you as a Website owner, Web developer, or Web Designer wants to know what section of your website is being liked by people you can use Crazy Egg software. If also want to know what content or page is relevant to people and what product or service is catching people's attention then Crazy Egg helps you with a heatmap tool, and scroll tool to help you understand the incoming traffic using a visual representation. If you require to fully automate your social media campaigns then it may not be very relevant to use as there are other software that caters to it. They do not have the functionality of Crazy Egg built in them.

Crazy Egg is currently used by my organization to understand visitor interactivity with newly released landing pages. We combined this data with our analytics data to start telling a more wholesome story with data. We often time triangulate Crazy Egg, Google Analytics, and survey data to understand areas of improvement and guidance for A/B testing.
Pros
Easy implementation on site.
Easy to understand visual reporting.
Easy (and fast) set up.
Great UX and UI within the tool.
Cons
I wish there was more customer support to lean on for test ideas and how to use the tool to our advantage. I'm sure there is a ton of value we haven't unlocked yet.
Sometimes the test set up for different devices is a little clunky.
On our sites, we have a ton of pop-ups. Despite checking off the "omit pop-ups" on the test set up, we still capture the pop up on the page's image which can cover up a ton of retail space to analyze.

Crazy Egg is a great tool for those starting out with heatmap and clickmap tools. It has a user-friendly interface with extremely easy set up that can be implemented via Google Tag Manager instead of tapping into a developer resource. The visual reporting is easy to understand with the ability to filter by traffic source so that you can segment your analysis.
I have used it to help clients better understand how their website was or was not working for them. It is one thing to tell clients their website would not convert well, or they needed to create or move their CTA above the fold. However, when I should show them it was more convincing. To understand how visitors interact with websites is helpful in understanding how to improve it to ensure the goal of the website is met.
Pros
Website interaction details (confetti, heatmap, overlay, and scroll map).
A/B testing.
Record visitor interactions with the website.
Cons
A month to month plan.
Special trail or discounted rate for entrepreneurs or new website owners.
Phone support.
More "how to" YouTube videos.

Websites should have a goal. CrazyEgg can help a business owner or website designer understand if the visitors are meeting the goal and if the website is driving the visitor to that goal. Many need to see the track or journey of the visitors before they understand that their website needs a little tweaking.
Crazy Egg is a powerful suite of tools to explore users' in-page interactions. It shows clicks and scrolling activity by heatmaps and other charts. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to analyze data by segmentation: many competitors do not offer this key feature. It could be expanded with other tools like form analysis and screen recording.
Pros
data segmentation
list report
link analytics in Overlay report
Cons
Would like to see: form analysis, screen recording, and surveys
Likelihood to Recommend
It can be very useful for analyzing users' behaviour at your website and optimizing the page layout. It offers a lot of data and heatmaps.
We use it to get Heat and scroll mapping analytics. It is being used to Demand Generation. It helps us assess how customers are interacting with our website pages.
Pros
Heat mapping
Scroll mapping
Mobile / Desktop comparisons
Easy set up
Cons
Storing older tests - You must download and store them.
Allow easier upgrading to allow for more Snapshots
Likelihood to Recommend
Crazy Egg is great for smaller to medium size businesses to get heat map data on their websites. The price is very reasonable. It has an easy set-up. It will help them identify and correct website problem areas. Larger companies will need it for snapshots. Ask how many snapshots are needed for your size of company.

We are currently Running around 90 snapshots. We use Crazy Egg to to measure traffic flow for our customers homepages and main landing pages. We use Crazy Egg reports to discuss ways to the client to improve there website and create A/B testing plans from this data.
Pros
Using Crazy Egg on homepages help show our clients what visitors are clicking on or NOT clicking on. The detailed Reports that Crazy Egg gives make our jobs easier when convincing a client to change layout or design or content and maybe try an A/B test in the future.
We Use Crazy Egg on internal Landing pages as well to see how visitors are reacting to them. Again, The detailed Reports that Crazy Egg gives make our jobs easier when convincing a client to change layout or design or content and maybe try an A/B test in the future.
Downloading the reports is very easy today and easy to view with the client. Also the new user interface to set up test is very easy to use.

The Overlay feature is very cool but hard to read sometimes and hard to share with clients using screen shots.

At our digital marketing agency, Crazy Egg is used when we are testing how users are experiencing specific pages on our websites. We do this for both completely new website designs, and individual page redesigns (both content and organization of the page design). While the digital marketing team is typically the team responsible for looking at the data and reporting it in a meaningful way, the reports are used by the designers, developers, and clients in order to better analyze if users are acting as anticipated. This data is typically correlated with Google Analytics data in order to gain a more-full picture.
Pros
Simple set-up
Easy-to-understand reports
It has both heatmaps and click tracking
Cons
Slowly creeping prices
Subscription may quickly be expended depending on how popular the page is that is being tracked
Limited number of snapshots can run simultaneously
Likelihood to Recommend
If you have websites with moderate traffic, and are looking to see if your page design is working as intended, Crazy Egg will give you an idea of how those users are interacting with your page, and whether there may be changes that could be used to optimize that experience. If you have a website with a significant amount of traffic, your subscription will quickly buckle under the load.
We use Crazy Egg to understand how people interact with on-page elements and content on our sites. It answers questions that other analytics tools can't, like which navigational elements are most used on a site, or what non-link elements users are clicking on. Provides an easy-to interpret heatmap that clients love, and offers good integration with Optimizely to visualize how design changes impact behavior.
Pros
Creates beautiful, easy-to-share heatmaps.
Easy setup with sensible defaults. Advanced targeting for power users.
Implementation checker makes it easy to verify that you have it set up correctly.
Scheduling lets you launch heatmaps immediately or at a later time.
Cons
Sorting and batch processing of multiple heatmaps can be difficult.
Doesn't show data for a few hours.
Advanced targeting can be confusing.
Likelihood to Recommend
Crazy Egg is great as a heatmapping tool - If you want an affordable way to see click, scroll, and positioning data for real visitors on your website, Crazy Egg is a good option. It can't compare with tools like Google Analytics, but that's not how it is designed to be used.
