What is Coveralls?

Coveralls helps users deliver code confidently by showing which parts of the code aren’t covered by a test suite. It is free for open source repos, and commercial Pro accounts are available for private repos.

Coveralls features:
  • Repository Coverage Statistics - See the latest code-coverage statistics on all repositories including the total percentages covered and the lines covered.
  • Individual File Coverage Reports - Coveralls even breaks down the test coverage on a file by file basis. See the relevant coverage, covered and missed lines, and the hits per line for each file.
  • Line by Line Coverage - Quickly browse through individuals files that have changed in a new commit, and see exactly what changed in the build coverage line by line.
  • Repository Overview - The Coveralls overview lets users see the current coverage levels across repos, and shows a graph of the coverage changes over time.
  • Notifications - Coveralls can push information about coverage changes out to the services in use daily. Alerts can go out via email, Slack, Hipchat, Gitter, and as a JSON formatted webhook.
  • Coverage Updates - The updates page shows a feed of all individual commits to project repos, and how those changes have affected the code coverage.
  • GitHub and CI Integration - Coveralls currently works with a number of Continuous Integration services, and also integrates with a Github account to add a coverage badge to a project read-me, add coverage comments to pull requests, and also uses the display Github Status API to add coverage information to pull requests.
