Coinbase is the safest wallet to save our crypto assets. It helps us to store, trade, and exchange our crypto assets within a second with just a single click. I use this product and it's a good user experience and easy to use for buying Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Coinbase allows me to store, buy, sell and trade cryptocurrencies, the interface is super easy to use and the service is secure, it's a great tool for anyone who wants to get into cryptocurrency trading and investment for the first time.

Cons

Customer support agents are not willing to solve our problems.

I recommend Coinbase because of its easy-to-use interface that allows us to buy crypto with a few clicks. If I make customer support the number one priority then I will not recommend it. We need to wait several weeks to get solve our issue after contacting the Coinbase support team.

My organization is using Coinbase to hedge the risk of other asset classes during these uncertain economic times. My team has also worked with several fintech startups and crypto companies, so learning the ins and outs of the major networks and platforms across the ecosystem is imperative. I have also used similar exchanges like BlockFi and Gemini.

Cons

I wish I could easily track my cost basis from the asset view.
I believe fees should be more transparent, including spread.

We use Coinbase in the organization for cryptocurrency exchanges and other related transactions. We have a not-so-unique business need, along with many other SAAS companies, to accept many forms of payment for our services. Coinbase allows for the exchange of goods and services through other means quickly and securely.

Pros

Coinbase is a very secure online crypto platform.
It provides ease of use for buying, selling, transferring, and storing cryptocurrency.
It has an easy to use UI and intuitive design.

Cons

I would like it more if it could add more currencies for trading.
I would like to see more functionality to navigate the mobile app.
It would be nice if they could lower Coinbase fees to match competitor pricing.

Likelihood to Recommend

Again, we use Coinbase at least several times per month to complete customer sales transactions. We have integrated this into our invoicing process. Coinbase's exchange is well suited to quickly and safely, transfer funds to our accounts without dealing with paper checks lost in the mail. Overall, it has improved the time it takes to get payment from weeks to days. There really are no disadvantages, except when customers insist on paying by paper check. We found that you cannot get around that entirely, but by offering other methods like Coinbase, we are able to accommodate just about every situation to get paid.

I needed a platform that allowed me to easily manage different crypto assets, trade them, and have an overview of the invested assets. Coinbase Pro offers a clear and easy interface to do so, while also offering strong security features to protect your wallet and account. Coinbase Pro also offers discounts for higher volumes of trading, differently from other tools I've tried.

Over 130 cryptocurrencies can be traded.
It also offers discounts for high-volume operations.

Cons

It can be difficult for beginners (despite having a clear interface, the options are really a lot).

Likelihood to Recommend

Coinbase is great for trading the main cryptocurrencies (and some minor ones as well) but doesn't allow trading of many niche or newer ones.

I personally don't use the Coinbase modules for any of my organizational/business needs (I actually don't think anyone does). I use Coinbase for personal crypto trading, investment, and staking purposes. Sometimes I also use the Coinbase modules to send and receive crypto from and to businesses and or my friends.

Pros

Coinbase has a really nice looking design which offers for a better user experience.
Coinbase is extremely easy to use.
Coinbase does a great job delivering company news/changes to its users.
Coinbase offers frequent updates which makes you feel more secure using their services.

Cons

Sometimes the frequent updates also come with a change in layout which usually makes it harder to adjust.
Wish the normal version also offered auto-purchases (available in PRO).
A larger and more centralized crypto news + advice would be nice to have.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Coinbase is extremely suitable for people who are just starting to get into crypto-related activities. Based on how easy it is to use along with the brand recognition I think it offers beginners a better sense of security. Just like all trading platforms, it is extremely easy to get carried away as you only have to confirm your purchase twice and it goes through. It would not be very suitable for those who have little self-control.

Keeping up with Crypto, on a platform that hypo can buy/sell was very important for my CEO. He wanted a way to invest extra income in something that could exponentially grow. The way that Coinbase displays the performance of his portfolio, as well as the performance of another crypto in real-time was a key decision-maker. As well as the fact that Coinbase is excellent at boosting newer types of currency is great. One of the other reasons my CEP enjoys this platform is the education options, that go in-depth about what certain coins are trying to do.

I utilize Coinbase for both personal and business uses. I am in the finance industry so we get a lot of clients who utilize Coinbase as housing for their crypto assets. Being in the finance business, we need to be able to source and identify who these assets belong to which is exactly the opposite of what crypto-assets do, the whole point of it is to keep the account holders private in addition to being a housing and trading platform. Nonetheless, it's one of the better systems in what seems like a poorly regulated system when it comes to crypto.

Way too expensive compared to banking institutions to trade.
Two-factor authentication although secure can be a challenge to get through for the owner.

The thing about Coinbase is that they speak to the general population when it comes to trading and managing crypto. Both newcomers and skilled traders can open an account and start trading fairly quickly once everything is verified. It's very well suited for somebody who has zero experience in trading and was all the hype when bitcoin went from 1K-30K+. The platform however has major flaws because it does attract so many consumers to this space. Unlike a Merrill Lynch account or a traditional bank account, you're never going to have that option of calling in and asking to speak with a financial advisor on crypto. As many people are within this space, you are practically on your own which isn't a good thing considering the high fees they charge and the risk class associated with Crypto. I would imagine most people who are more tenured in this space do not use Coinbase for their daily trading.
