Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cofense Vision was a pleasant surprise for us at IT. We started using it more than 1 year ago with the indication of other colleagues. Since implementing Cofense Vision on our AWS, phishing emails have dramatically reduced. It is implemented for all users of our headquarters [where] I work. With features such as AutoQuarantine, the tool already automatically identifies and deletes malicious emails from users' inboxes, ensuring greater network security and preventing curious users from opening the email and becoming infected. This tool is excellent to prevent and remedy external attacks, [minimizing] damage to the organization's business. My inbox never showed up again phishing email after using this tool.

Cofense Vision is used at the level of several departments of our company, this is because Cofense Vision is a powerful tool that [helps] detect the presence of phishing emails or those that are suspicious[.] We not only remain protected at the level we also protect our users thanks to the fact that we can respond quickly to potential threats[.] One of its most relevant characteristics[,] is that it is capable of detecting and repairing said threats in record time, which is why we use it to keep our organization free [from] threats that harm it.

Phishing is always the number one attack vector. Cofense helps in this problem along with Vision to identify and prevent advanced threats from coming into our organization. Daily driving the Cofense Vision product shows constant use of the product in a positive way. With many threats coming through email, it helps to have a tool like Cofense Vision to look over.

The reason behind installing this anti-phishing software in most of our departments across the organization was to fight back against phishing attacks that have already cost us a lot. We used to get afraid of storing our important credentials in our systems but Cofense [Vision] has given us confidence by providing email security and tracking of threats.

  • The way it quarantines emails that are suspicious of carrying threats.
  • Such valuable software at such an incredible price.
  • It has the ability to track the threat and can stop it in its way.

  • It seems buggy on and off.
  • Its integration, by and large, doesn’t work according to our anticipation and I think it needs more advancement.
  • It was hard for us to integrate it with our already present security stack and this caused a hurdle in getting benefit from other functions.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Email security was one of the major concerns for our company and we wanted a secure tool to protect us against this problem and Cofense Vision is a great solution against such issues. We are now working in a secure and safe environment and its speed of action is salutary too, as it immediately takes action against suspicious emails.

  • It doesn’t give time for the hackers to attack us .
  • It is an extremely composed tool and is a perfect anti-phishing tool .
  • This tool is effective enough storing emails and also produces duplicate emails.
  • This tool has enabled my team to track who is looking into and for what.

Cons

  • Sometimes its system clashes and it stops working all the way and disturbs working.
  • Some of our important emails went missing and we can find them in Cofense Vision and it needs proper checking in order to retrieve email.
  • There are no other cons I could think of as I have not encountered any other so far.
