[Cofense] Vision is an effective solution which goes hand in hand with the other solutions from the Cofense Suite (PhishMe and Triage). Coming from an organization which handles extremely high amount of mail traffic, it is a tedious task to remove the spam/phishing mails by oneself from exchange server. [Cofense] Vision automates that activity serving as a perfect solution from Email security.

Pros

Auto quarantine for phishing mails
Auto quarantine for SPAM mails based on rules made by analyst
Detailed analysis on the original mail reported by the user

Cons

Journaling from exchange is a little difficult to set up
Access management to the non admin users can be improved
UI is too primitive and can be improved

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited in environments where there is a high mail traffic to handle. [Cofense] Vision basically journals the exchange server and keeps a copy of the mail received in the environment. Really beneficial to revoke and quarantine the mail reported by one user, but footprint is there in other mailboxes as well. Less appropriate in the cases where there is no proper segregation of duties within the organization. As it is possible to see contents of the mail. Only authorized personnel should be able to use it.

We are using Cofense Vision for the whole organization. It is very easy to monitor all the user's mailboxes and takes the appropriate action on the mailbox level to quarantine the emails [...] with just one single click. And the best part is we can have a single pane of glass.

Customer support.

Should support all the private/public platforms.

Cofense Vision is [a] powerful email gateway when it comes to detecting and preventing malicious emails. It prevents phishing attacks and can delete phishing emails from the entire organization's mailbox with just a single click. It eases the job of SOC analysts, and they can create [...] phishing attack simulations for the user's training. It lacks when we need [to discover] lookalike domains.

Email security was one of the major concerns for our company and we wanted a secure tool to protect us against this problem and Cofense Vision is a great solution against such issues. We are now working in a secure and safe environment and its speed of action is salutary too, as it immediately takes action against suspicious emails.

Pros

It doesn’t give time for the hackers to attack us .
It is an extremely composed tool and is a perfect anti-phishing tool .
This tool is effective enough storing emails and also produces duplicate emails.
This tool has enabled my team to track who is looking into and for what.

Cons

Sometimes its system clashes and it stops working all the way and disturbs working.
Some of our important emails went missing and we can find them in Cofense Vision and it needs proper checking in order to retrieve email.
There are no other cons I could think of as I have not encountered any other so far.

Likelihood to Recommend

Since [Cofense Vision] has the capability to act against a phishing attack it can be used in all sizes of firms but is most suitable for the mid-sized because sometimes its system clashes. I don’t know exactly the reason behind its clash but as far as I have observed it might be because of overworking or non-compatibility. Despite this fact, this tool is powerful enough against phishing attacks and is a genuine email security tool.

Cofense Vision was a pleasant surprise for us at IT. We started using it more than 1 year ago with the indication of other colleagues. Since implementing Cofense Vision on our AWS, phishing emails have dramatically reduced. It is implemented for all users of our headquarters [where] I work. With features such as AutoQuarantine, the tool already automatically identifies and deletes malicious emails from users' inboxes, ensuring greater network security and preventing curious users from opening the email and becoming infected. This tool is excellent to prevent and remedy external attacks, [minimizing] damage to the organization's business. My inbox never showed up again phishing email after using this tool.

[Cofense Vision] optimizes protection against any phishing attack.
It is simple, friendly and easy to use.
[Cofense Vision provides] super detailed analysis reports.

Cons

I haven't been able to identify any problem, bug or defect in the solution so far.

I recommend [Cofense Vision] to all companies and people looking for a practical, safe [and] cheap solution that offers optimized and automated protection against phishing with easy implementation and management, which can be on-premises or in the cloud. Phishing is something that[,] unfortunately[,] exists a lot and it is necessary to [address] this type of threat.

The reason behind installing this anti-phishing software in most of our departments across the organization was to fight back against phishing attacks that have already cost us a lot. We used to get afraid of storing our important credentials in our systems but Cofense [Vision] has given us confidence by providing email security and tracking of threats.

Pros

Fast speed.
The way it quarantines emails that are suspicious of carrying threats.
Such valuable software at such an incredible price.
It has the ability to track the threat and can stop it in its way.

Cons

It seems buggy on and off.
Its integration, by and large, doesn’t work according to our anticipation and I think it needs more advancement.
It was hard for us to integrate it with our already present security stack and this caused a hurdle in getting benefit from other functions.

From the time we have moved to cyberspace one of our major concerns was phishing attacks because we have a clear idea that how this can cause damage to our organization and Cofense [Vision] is the perfect software to get rid of such attacks but when it comes to its integration then in this scenario I won't recommend this because as far as I have observed integration is not working the way we anticipated from it.

The undetected threats have always been one of our major

concerns since they can cause us much damage and the worst part of it is that

they can get into our systems and can breach data. It helped us in

automatically segregating the emails with threats. Most of our systems in the

IT department are equipped with this security tool.

Pros

It segregates the threat containing emails.
It is a proactive tool with the ability to sense and identify threats in emails.
It not only just detects suspicious emails but also destroys threats and saves an organization.
It immediately provides the security team with the warning of a phishing attack and they can take action to resist that attack on time.

Cons

It is such an important tool for an organization but is only available at a very expensive price.
Honestly, It took us several hours to [get used to] its working and interface.
Although they claim that Cofense Vision will not intervene with the system but it didn’t come up to our expectations.

Cofense Vision is unfavorable to those who cannot afford the disturbance

in their systems since we have encountered this major issue that resulted in

affecting our normal work. But apart from that, we have found it as a

marvelous anti-phishing tool and its artificial intelligence is sufficient

enough to smell if there is something fishy.
