My team loves CodeSignal

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our team does a lot of hiring for IT and Software Development based roles. We use CodeSignal as one of the stages in our recruitment process to screen candidates for candidates who are proficient in specific coding skillsets. We then pass the results of these tests to hiring managers who can then decide who to move forward with to the next stage of interviews for the positions that are open.

Pros

  • Really simple to set up assessments. Tons of inbuilt tests.
  • Its easy to share the results of the assessments with stakeholders.
  • Integrates with our ATS.
  • Works great for high volume hiring challenges.

Cons

  • Would like the option to allow candidates to skip certain questions if required. Maybe its there and I couldnt find it.
  • Interface could be a little nicer, its pretty janky at the moment.

Return on Investment

  • Made our interview process more efficient.
  • Lead to better quality candidates moving through the process faster.
  • Made it easier to involve more people in the interview process.
  • Allowed us to test candidates across different software skillsets.
