Today, my organization mainly uses Cloudflare's WAF, with the benefits of the Enterprise plan. We actually use almost the entire product portfolio, such as DNS, Pages, Workers, SSL and custom certificates, as well as Security and Rules. We also use the free plan domains for sites with few traffic or less relevance, but the features available in the free plan are exceptional and very helpful.
Pros
Automated DDoS Protection
WAF
Workers
SSL
Pages
Rules
Proteção automatizada para DDoS
Cons
Rules Distribution, difficult to find where the rules are that were previously grouped in Pages Rules
Cloudflare Pages monitoring, issues regarding the number of deployments performed and other features that are limited by plan, do not have the metrics that should be included with the workers.
Logic of rules, sometimes they change, and a rule that previously worked with * or contains, no longer works. Or the logic AND, OR.
Ou a lógica AND , OR.

In my opinion, Cloudflare is completely appropriate, and in terms of security and performance, it is currently at the top. As for WAF, there are no comparisons. Some improvements that have been added in recent months have been sensational. The analytics, where you can check events for the entire account, are the only things that leave something to be desired. It is more confusing to keep looking for the option to create a rule that was previously at hand.

Helps us cover attacks placed on externally exposed web apps. And provides metrics on malicious behavior that has taken place. If any of it was prevented, as well as the type of attacks there we discovered and seen. It's also has provided an increase in pages that are cached and loaded much quicker for end users. So there is a performance benefit, as well as a security benefit.
Pros
Security, great use of a WAF to protect web applications
CDN capabilities, to be able to cache pages for quick loading times on the user end
DNS capabilities, so you can host your domain record entries.
Cons
AI & bot detection and usage, where it can detect a human vs. bot vs. AI usage.
DLP capabilities, where sensitive data can be prevented, and metrics built on what category of data was seen.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Cloudflare. I also like that they offer domain name services for at cost prices. Security features all work well and Cloudflare seems to always be innovating new features and capabilities. They are also open to allowing you to beta test new features to provide feedback and recommendations to their roadmaps for various items.

We use Cloudflare for DNS, security, performance improvements, and load balancing for most of the web applications that our organization hosts for public use. It is the first line of defense for web and network security for services that are open to the entire internet, so it is an important piece of our overall security puzzle and tackles the bulk of the load regarding requests placed on our self-hosted resources.
The Global cloud services offered from Cloudflare are an enticing set of tools which offer a range of solutions that we may benefit from to improve our website performance, security and reliability.
For Optum I can see potential benefitting factors:
Content Delivery Network (CDN) DDoS Protection Web App Firewall (WAF)
Pros
DNS Management
Zero Trust Security (Cloudflare Access and Gateway)
Load Balancing
DDoS Protection
Content Delivery Network (CDN)
Argo Smart Routing
SSL/TLS Encryption
Email Security
Cons
Load Balancing
Email Security
Smart Routing

DDoS protection is key for any business operations when connected to the internet, which we all are. It absorbs malicious traffic through Cloudflare's network before it impacts the company servers.
This in conjunction with Zero Trust Security is hugely beneficial for companies like ours which hold a serious amount of personal HIIPA data.

We are thinking of the use of Cloudflare for our organization's Zero Trust adoption. When connecting to WARP, it automatically connects the users to the server where they are. This type VPN is capable of bypassing
restrictions on popular streaming platforms, it restricts me to nearby
server locations without granting the ability to choose my desired
region. This poses an inconvenience for individuals who wish to access
content from their home country while traveling overseas.
Pros
Secure corporate applications
Zero Trust networking delivery
Secure enterprise network connectivity,
Cons
Too much data in its logs
Sometimes the WARP VPN couldn’t unblock popular streaming sites
Likelihood to Recommend
The combination of capabilities that optimize performance and offer
complete security against cyber attacks is so appealing to us. The service is fast compared with other platforms. It is easy to setup and implement custom integration.
Its security is high and many features available in the platform.
We use Cloudflare for DDoS, bot mitigation security, CDN, and WAF. It is deployed for internet-facing apps to enhance customer experience even during periods of heavy traffic.
Pros
It has enhanced customer experience.
It guaranteed static content delivery.
100% availability of data.
Cons
Complex for beginners.
Cloudflare Warp is not reliable.
Likelihood to Recommend
Overall, the Cloudflare suite is a powerful solution, but the Warp product is not comparable to the Cisco VPN.

We are using Cloudflare mainly for two reasons, one of them is workers and the other one is pages.
Cloudflare's resizing, compression, and automatic format conversion capabilities have significantly enhanced page load times while maintaining image quality.
Pros
Cloudflare is also used for logging for analytics.
Cloudflare's proxy system can improve website's performance by caching content and reducing the load.
Security
Cons
Cost
Improve detection of brute force attacks
More regional support

In our organization, we are using Cloudflare for multiple purposes such as 1. For Content Delivery as a CDN 2. For DDoS protection and for threat analytics 3. For traffic forwarding using CloudFlare workers 4. For DNS management 5. For Bot management 6. For certificate management 7. For SSL verification
Pros
The best part is the content delivery network. Cloudflare has a large network of data centres around the world that helps cache and delivers content quickly to our customers.
Cloudflare offers us with a fast and reliable DNS service and with the world class features such as Cloudflare workers, SSL verification, certificate management and web application firewall. When all of these are combined together, it provides very strict security for our organization.
One of the most important feature that we use is the analytics and threat detection. It provides us with the real time insights of all the threats originating from multiple locations and landing on our websites.
Cons
Over time, I have come to the conclusion that CloudFront is sometimes a little bit slow when it is trying to verify the SSL. We use it on our webpage for SSL verification and when we access it from mobile, we see it takes a little more time for SSL verification.
Cloudflare's extensive feature set can be overwhelming for new users. When I first worked on it, there were a lot of features shown on the dashboards and I had no idea about those. Streamlining the user interface and simplifying the setup process could help improve the experience for non technical users.
The pricing for Cloudflare is a little bit complex and sometimes hard to follow.
Likelihood to Recommend
Based on my experience, Cloudflare is well-suited for high-traffic websites and probably e-commerce platforms. Cloudflare can mitigate the risk of attacks on these websites using WAF and DNS protection mechanisms and provide cached content to the end-users quickly. The websites where it is not suitable are those that need high security and compliance requirements as Cloudflare might not meet all those criteria.
We use Cloudflare to serve web-facing applications so that our customers can access the content more quickly. This solves some of the problems with our website when it is being used heavily.
Pros
Contents being served 100% of any time.
Customer's experiences are excellent.
Worry-free about static pages not being loaded.
Cons
Maybe Cloudflare can provide more web browser plug-ins to measure the page loading performance?
Likelihood to Recommend
I think all static content is suitable for Cloudflare service, and video content is also well-suited for Cloudflare.
To enhance our website's security, improve
performance, and ensure reliable user access. It addresses
problems such as DDoS attacks, slow loading times, and unreliable site
availability.
Pros
improve performance.
prevent DDoS attacks.
unreliable site availability.
Cons
Complex Configuration.
Limited Customization in Free Plan.
Support Response Times.
Likelihood to Recommend
For delivering content to a global audience, Cloudflare's CDN
significantly improved load times by caching content closer to users,
enhancing user experience.
