Client meetings and presentations; sending presentations as follow-up or if we're unable to schedule a meeting
Pros
Screensharing
Sending of presentations with ability to track views/activity
Sharing of meeting content/materials among team
Cons
Frequent tech issues
Ability to let others share their screen is not straight forward
Likelihood to Recommend
Clearslide is a great tool for sending presentations/materials to clients when you wish to be able to track whether it has been viewed/how often it's viewed etc. Additionally, the ability to easily share your presentation without having to share your screen or have the presentation you're sharing take over the whole screen is nice.
We use ClearSlide to publish PowerPoint/Google slides presentations for clients to review. We track who has viewed it, so we know who to follow up with. We also track where the viewer is from, what their email address is, what their title is and we use all of that information in a follow-up email.
Pros
Gives client data.
Shows which parts of the presentation are performing well.
Cons
Could give us even more data.
Could allow us to make changes once published.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is great for anyone who sends decks/presentations to clients. It is a much neater way of sending something, where, if you send a Google slide or PowerPoint doc, you could always just edit it, or the person viewing it could edit it, which is unprofessional. This is more of a final version and looks professional.
It is being used in my department as an email storage and data gathering tool. It addresses the need to manually write emails over and over again and it shows us the rate of our emails being read.
Pros
Email Storage
Read/open rate
Cadence retention
Cons
Data for opened email could be more expansive
Difficulty mass emailing
Many times, when I have conversations with customers, they tell me they have read my emails and are interested in the product, but ClearSlide says it was never opened.
Likelihood to Recommend
It does help expedite emails by storing templates and old emails in your account. It is also nice for data collected on emails sent when it does it correctly.

The sales team uses ClearSlide to do screen share demo's of my companies technology.
Pros
External prospects don't have to download anything to see my screen
I can house presentations in ClearSlide
I can track emails using ClearSlide
Cons
I don't know if this was a ClearSlide issue or something else, but my specific dial-in meeting number was used by another sales rep in a completely different company. We would dial-into each others meeting accidentally.
Gmail plugin - Remind me if someone hasn't opened an email I sent to them.
Gmail plugin allowing users to send out links to their calendar embedded in the body of the email.

If you are a slide deck heavy sales pitch this is the solution for you.

The Professional Diversity Network uses ClearSlide specifically for our Business Development Team. It allows the team to easily and efficiently hold business meetings with current and prospective customers and outline how they would be able to utilize our services. The email functionality is also something that is widely used as it allows the team to see gain insight as to who and when customers are viewing our sales materials.
Pros
Email Functionality - Creation of general templates to be constantly used as well as allowing the team to gain insight as to who is opening and viewing the material. That makes the follow up much easier to have.
Presentations - Very easy to provide customers with a source link of where to view our presentation and also very easy to provide them with the ability to show their screen if needed. The fact that we can have several people on the presentation is helpful as well.
Salesforce Integration - Very important in our organization as we like to have any and all activity pertaining to customers housed in our CRM.

ClearSlide is well suited for on the fly conference calls that also calls for the ability to view the screen of the members in the meeting. I can recall several situations where I needed to hop on a call AND provide customers with information that was directly on my screen on the fly.
ClearSlide is being used in our sales department and I believe several markets across our enterprise (not just Raleigh) have access to ClearSlide as well. Account executives, managers, and even our regional leaders are encouraged to use it as much as possible. The idea is to use ClearSlide for sending larger presentations to clients that are not in-market. Another benefit is to have real-time knowledge of when your proposal is being looked at, by who and what slides are a focus. That gives us, as salespeople, an edge up.
Pros
User-friendly. It's one of the easiest assets we have to be trained on.
Transparency. ClearSlide is super helpful in knowing when my client or prospect is engaged with the proposal and what content they seem to be focused on the most.
Data saver. I cannot tell you how many times I get bounce back emails for a file being too large. This is a great way to store and send information without clogging up your inbox or the receivers.
Cons
I don't have any.

Well suited:
1) When you have a larger presentation to send to an out-of-market client.
2) When you want to know when your presentation is being viewed and by who
3) Insight into what your client or prospect is focusing on in the presentation. Concept? Investment?
Clearslide is used by the inside sales team. It helped us with a few things:
Mass emailing to our clients
Screen sharing for our demos
A hub for documents across the floor
A hub of email templates across the floor
Being able to see who has opened our emails and what they viewed
Pros
Being able to screen share for easy demo access without the client needing to download anything. It's a simple link to send out.
Being a library of data for templates and content to send out to the clients. It's a good place to store information and easily send to your teammates to use.
Allowing us to send the email out, who has opened it and what they have viewed and how long they have viewed that document or email for - It helps us to follow up and talk about certain products. It's kind of mind reading.
The data that comes with it - the "Insights" - shows us a dashboard for our team to see who is using the software the most and how they are using it.
Cons
The Content tab can be more organizing
Animated powerpoint slides don't display great. Could use an admin bar on the side during screen sharing.
I wish I could have basic edit functionality within the slides in the interface.

With ClearSlide, salespeople can quickly and easily email their sales content to prospects and customers using a customized link, which allows them to:
Gain insight into the engagement with their content
ClearSlide provides the ability to present content remotely through Live Pitch.ClearSlide’s analytics can help sales leaders be more effective by providing them with actionable data to have meaningful conversations with their team.
I use Clearslide to facilitate both in person and remote slide deck presentations and demonstrations of our product. We also use Clearslide for conference calls and other presentations. I spend an equal amount of time in the office as well as selling in the field and use the Clearslide remote control app on my phone to run through slide decks in person with prospective clients.
Pros
I find Clearslide very easy to connect remote users. Very little firewall/ other IT hurdles to overcome
Uploading content and reviewing multiple presentations is very easy
The remote control phone app makes moving between slides mid presentation very easy
Screen share is also very easy to utilize which I did not find to be the case with competing systems
Cons
The conference call lines, especially international are not as reliable as I would like
Converting powerpoint animations could be easier so they present in the same way on Clearslide
The engagement metrics for viewers of a presentation is confusing in terms of what and how it measures the engagement of the viewers
Likelihood to Recommend
The most compelling feature for me was the lack of software the viewer has to install on their side to join a presentation. Alternative systems like Go To Meeting and Webex seem to be hit and miss if the firewalls and IT policies on the viewer's side would allow them to connect. Clearslide also makes recording and cataloging meetings for after the fact review easy.
Our organization uses ClearSlide in sales and account management roles. The inside sales team are the primary users. While our outside sales team also use it when managing larger territories outside of major metro areas. I've personally used it in the Greater Boston region for 2+ years to reduce the amount of time spent driving to visit clients.
Pros
Viewer engagement reporting
Email tracking
Mass-emails
Audio and conference calling
Content management
Cons
Could improve mobile UX for the viewer
Include SSL on the branded domains so that viewers don't get the secure site prompt
Create scheduling tools that allow for mass emails to schedule webinar sessions

ClearSlide is the standard for web-based demos and slide presentations. At our organization, we use ClearSlide to email content during the prospecting phase and to present live content and screen shares. We love the viewer engagement ratings for this purpose. It's not as useful for the account management team because their needs are not as robust.
ClearSlide is being used by our entire inside sales team. We use it to make live presentations and for email pitches. ClearSlide enables us to present our product to prospects from all over the globe.
Pros
Live presentations
Analytics
Tracking customer engagement
Cons
Email tracking
Stability issues
Phone clarity
