Client meetings and presentations; sending presentations as follow-up or if we're unable to schedule a meeting
Pros
Screensharing
Sending of presentations with ability to track views/activity
Sharing of meeting content/materials among team
Cons
Frequent tech issues
Ability to let others share their screen is not straight forward
Likelihood to Recommend
Clearslide is a great tool for sending presentations/materials to clients when you wish to be able to track whether it has been viewed/how often it's viewed etc. Additionally, the ability to easily share your presentation without having to share your screen or have the presentation you're sharing take over the whole screen is nice.
I use ClearSlide regularly to put together presentations for clients. ClearSlide makes it easy to create presentations that can be shared with clients with a simple link creation. The ability to pull slides from other presentations and simply hide or show selected slides for a specific client saves tons of time when it comes to sending material to clients.
Pros
Easily share presentations
Track clicks and views of presentations
Create presentations
Cons
Edit features of slides. Once a ppt has been uploaded you are limited on what is able to be edited.
Google Slides integration
When copying a slide or presentation if enter key is pressed instead of the "Create" button it fails to create the copy.
Improvements to search functions.
Likelihood to Recommend
Any scenario that uses slideshows to present or send to clients or employees. Especially in sales the capabilities make sending the same deck to different clients easy and have amazing tracking features to ensure clients are viewing and engaging with the material.
Clearslide is our one-stop shop for all things file sharing. We often need to share multiple proposal iterations or large files with clients, both big and small, and Clearslide allows a simple way to do that without tripping any email filters or firewalls. In addition, Clearslide provides solid intel about who opens each file, at what time, and from where, which allows our sales team and client services team additional intel on how we service and reach out to clients and prospects.
Pros
Clearslide makes it simple to upload files of all types and sizes and share them with a single unique link.
Clearslide enables direct screen sharing and connectivity with clients to review documents and files in real-time.
Clearslide maintains a full database of the files you've uploaded and used, along with intel on who has viewed them, and for how long.
Cons
It is difficult to share video and audio files sometimes, and individual image files often come through compressed or odd-looking.
Uploading large documents can take additional time.
Adding a shorter URL link would be helpful, as the link is very long.
Likelihood to Recommend
Clearslide makes it easy to share files with anyone via a single link. It simplifies the process of document sharing in the new "work from home" age we have now and allows multiple parties to view the same document, either simultaneously or separately. It is less appropriate for sensitive information, as the link can easily be shared between parties or forwarded on, so there is no gatekeeping.
Clearslide has been a lifesaver for my company since we decided to purchase it. It is used by our marketing and sales planning teams to start our sales process, and then our sales team and client services team to seal the deal. We use it to house all of our sales and pre-sales materials, making it an easy one-stop-shop for any document our teams need. Everything is simple to find in easy to search locations, making our process smooth, and each team has an easy time using it.
Pros
Stores all crucial documents in an easy to navigate fashion
Allows seamless upload to Salesforce for archiving
Cons
Customer support could be a little more robust
Inability to reverse screen share
Likelihood to Recommend
Our organization has used ClearSlide as an organization tool first and screen sharing second. We had a terrible system in place to organize all documents, both pre and post-sales. Some documents were in google docs, some were in Salesforce Chatter, and some were in emails; they were just everywhere. ClearSlide has allowed us to make finding our needed documents fast and easy, which has been a huge win. Being able to track presentations has just been a bonus.
It is only being used by the sales org to help determine how long clients are spending on certain slides in presentation decks/sales decks we send out. It is helpful because you can see how engaged the client is with the material we send over.
Pros
It provides how long users spend on each slide/how engaged - shows exactly which content is relevant and which pieces they just gloss over.
The UX/UI is pretty easy to use.
Cons
The actual calling capability isn't great, I had many dropped calls or fuzzy calls when done directly through the ClearSlide tool.
When uploading content I wish you could edit it further within ClearSlide, because now I have to exit to go back to the original program to do so.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for sales organizations who are trying to determine which slides or pieces of content are relevant to their target audience, and which slides might be able to go or deleted since the clients don't find them useful.
We used Clearslide to present our product to customers and to train customers. We wanted something that allowed for easy screenshare to engage our prospects, and we also were interested in some of the analytics it provided that told us how engaged potential customers were.
Pros
Analytics: for sales, especially when selling virtually, it can be difficult to know if your customers are engaged with the presentation. Clearslide will give you reports that indicate how long customers were viewing what you were presenting, if/when you lost them, and at what place in your presentation you lost them. It can also show you how long potential customers spent reviewing follow-up materials you've sent them.
Screenshare: the screenshare functionality, when using Google Chrome, is very seamless, and the customer can take over the screenshare without needing any downloads or plug-ins.
Presenting: It's quite easy to present material with Clearslide, and to move between materials that you are presenting.
Cons
When a prospect is not using Google Chrome, they have to go through a few steps to allow for screenshare. Not every prospect is comfortable with downloading software for a sales pitch, and some get overwhelmed.
It's not very straightforward to connect to audio. It doesn't happen automatically, and to enable it you have to click on "dial in via web client".
There is a charge for using the conference line. It's a nominal fee of a few cents per minute, but with multiple reps using the site for many hours per month, this can add up a bit.
Likelihood to Recommend
ClearSlide is quite easy to use and effective when presenting information and sharing screen. It's also easy for the prospect to access your site; they just click on a link. If an inside sales manager was looking to find out where his/her team might be losing prospects, Clearslide would be a great choice because the analytics show exactly how engaged a prospect is and at what point they start to lose interest. There is a monthly cost/annual contract involved to Clearslide, so for a startup that is very cost-conscious it might be best to investigate free conference/screenshare options, but the case could be made that the analytics will earn back the fee.
Clearslide is used to communicate with prospective students via email and on live demonstrations via the web. We used the data to track engagement of students with the material we sent them and that would help us gauge interaction and buy-in for the sale. This also gave us confidence in our presentations to the student because we would be able to tell where they were focused on as far as information is concerned and mold our sales presentations around that topic or subject.
Pros
Insight into engagement in material sent via email.
Possible sales presentation help by noting where the customer is most engaged.
Live meeting options to share your screen with a simple link.
Cons
Some of the information is less valuable than you would think because it comes off as "creepy" to know the things we do.
Those who are not particularly tech savvy may have issues understanding how to work with Clearslide.
Likelihood to Recommend
ClearSlide is great for inside sales where a lot of emails are being sent. It's a good way to track engagement and open-rates of those emails and make sure your messaging is hitting the mark. It is also great for on-the-fly presentations when you're on the phone with a client who may need a little more visual influence.
We use ClearSlide to publish PowerPoint/Google slides presentations for clients to review. We track who has viewed it, so we know who to follow up with. We also track where the viewer is from, what their email address is, what their title is and we use all of that information in a follow-up email.
Pros
Gives client data.
Shows which parts of the presentation are performing well.
Cons
Could give us even more data.
Could allow us to make changes once published.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is great for anyone who sends decks/presentations to clients. It is a much neater way of sending something, where, if you send a Google slide or PowerPoint doc, you could always just edit it, or the person viewing it could edit it, which is unprofessional. This is more of a final version and looks professional.
It was being used across the company sales teams. It helped to make sure that our clients were thoroughly reading their proposals that we sent them via email, and we could see which pages were most closely scrutinized. This allowed us to address their concerns right away without having to probe too deeply.
Pros
Letting you know how long someone views a page - this is super helpful when figuring out their concerns!
Letting you know if the proposal has been opened - helps because you don't have to wait and wonder if they have seen the proposal.
The live walkthrough is really helpful so you can point things out while reviewing the proposal with your client.
Cons
I wish it applied to more than just documents, like when an email is opened
Sometimes it can give "false positives" where you think it's been opened but it hasn't. It doesn't happen often, but it happens every now and then.
Likelihood to Recommend
ClearSlide is the most helpful when giving presentations to clients who are not there in person. It makes it so much easier to walk them through the presentation and you can see if they are skipping ahead or not pay attention (have opened other tabs, etc). Giving distance presentations is hard, but ClearSlide offers an easy helpful hand.
It is being used in my department as an email storage and data gathering tool. It addresses the need to manually write emails over and over again and it shows us the rate of our emails being read.
Pros
Email Storage
Read/open rate
Cadence retention
Cons
Data for opened email could be more expansive
Difficulty mass emailing
Many times, when I have conversations with customers, they tell me they have read my emails and are interested in the product, but ClearSlide says it was never opened.
Likelihood to Recommend
It does help expedite emails by storing templates and old emails in your account. It is also nice for data collected on emails sent when it does it correctly.
