We use Cisco Meraki Go to run all of our remote offices. Cisco Meraki Go allows us to centralize the management of all of our networking products under a single pane of glass. Before Cisco Meraki Go we had several networks that had been set up by different vendors. Each vendor had their own way of managing their network. Cisco Meraki Go allowed us to centralize our management.
Pros
Centralized management for several sites
Alerting for components with issues
Easy to setup
Cons
VPN setup is a bit of a pain
Logging doesn't work very well
Sometimes it is difficult to see where the issues are occurring on the network.
Likelihood to Recommend
Cisco Meraki Go is well suited for small or large organizations that want to centralize their network management. We have half a dozen offices spread over two states. I can manage all of my networks through a single pane of glass. The only time Cisco Meraki Go isn't super appropriate is when larger organizations may want to use a more granular security approach or set up VPNs with non-Meraki hardware.
It's lightweight, it's a wireless access point. You've got corporate features for the home user. Pretty easy to set up and that's pretty much it really.
Cons
Security type. I'd like to see two FA, things like that when you're logging in a bit more integrations with other tools and things.

We actually have been using it at home replacing our previous Meraki set up. We also use it as recommended set up for SMBs we also support as well since it is a great use case in single site setup with basic VPN etc needs. The fact is has a lot of the same features as Meraki Enterprise, as well as being app and website accessible too helps a lot.
Pros
Ease of configuration
Deployment
Management
Remote access
Cons
App performance lag
Swag
Lower cost on Wifi6, there's a massive jump in price for that hardware
Likelihood to Recommend
Single site where wifi and wired connections are needed with on site and remote support needed. Possibly also VPN access. Or as we use it, at home for better management of network, guest access for family, for visitors and also content filtering to keep everyone safe too. They keep adding features so there may be more just added or upcoming I might have missed. It's probably not best for larger multi site businesses but small single or dual site with VPN it works awesomely.

Meraki Go is a great internet solution for our staff and our customers. The brewery is always filled with people coming to watch the Sunday Night Football Games, and our great, secure internet connection is unrivaled by the other bars in the Downtown Fresno area. Everybody in our brewery appreciates the quick internet speed we get, to check on different sporting events, and also for our patrons to use their mobile devices safely without having to worry about hackers taking some of their information. The app is also really easy to use; with just a few clicks, we set up two different networks, one for our staff members on a secure network and another for the general public to use. I have my own small business that I want to set up based around clothes, and I can be sure that Meraki Go would be a nice, lightweight option for my internet service.
Pros
Great internet service.
Great support team, they got back to me within an hour of my purchase.
Secure network provider, haven't had an issue with stolen passwords since switching from Ubiquiti.
Cons
One thing I would add is that sometimes the app has downtime or works particularly slowly on the weekends. Why that is, I'm not sure, maybe because I have an older iPhone.

One of the better times Meraki Go has proven useful was when the Fresno Grizzlies have baseball games, and many people come to our brewery to watch it on our televisions or stream it on their phones. The quick internet service allows us to attract more patrons and also improves their day. Half of the time, people are coming into our bar just to use the internet and end up buying a few drinks! The business had shot up thanks to our switch from when the pandemic started in 2020.

The customer was looking for a wireless solution that could provide user analytics with detailed information. If classic Cisco then it needs multiple servers and devices to do the implementation. In Cisco Meraki Go, you don’t have to go with multiple devices; just connect the AP to the dashboard, and you will get a detailed report of the users, and they are accessing.
We use the Cisco Meraki Go Indoor WiFi Access Point model in our building with the mission of delivering wireless internet to our users and guests. One of the great advantages of this model is the ability to be managed in the cloud and automatically provision access points installed anywhere. The entire configuration is adjusted by artificial intelligence and rules created by us at IT. We have been implementing this WiFi solution for over two years.

We decided to use Meraki Go to address WiFi connectivity problems, security: protecting WiFi clients, and easy setup.
Pros
Protect wifi clients.
Firmware updates.
Very stable WiFi connection.
Cons
The size of the device.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's a good solution if you're looking for a secure, reliable, and easy-to-setup WiFi for your business. The AP is suitable for indoor and outdoor, and you can combine multiple AP to get further coverage of the WiFI signal. If there are too many walls, the WiFi signal will be reduced, but it also happens with other vendors.

Best suited for small-scale businesses or startups who rely on high speed and better productivity. The price point is really affordable for the set of features it offers compared to any other product in the market. Great for remote offices or temporary offices since it can be set up easily and be moved from one location to another without any hassle. Not suitable for any large-scale enterprises or where security policies are very strict. The user has limited control over the device compared to other enterprise products.
