Cisco Meeting Server is mainly used to interact with clients and product team. And is also used to track and get on with business opportunities. When on a call with client, it is important to listen and convey each others needs in a business point of view, that too without any delay or hindrance. Cisco Meeting Server addresses this issue seamlessly and provided us with the desired results. There was a time where we had to connect with internal team who were working remotely for a critical update on the product and it was difficult to gather everyone and convey the insights at a single point and other conferencing tools we had used earlier had failed us, but Cisco Meeting Server did great job in handling all the personnel in the meeting without any lags or disconnectivity.
Pros
Simple, yet intuitive user experience and user friendly.
Easier collaboration with other tools to enhance the experience.
Boosts overall productivity and cost effective
Cons
Add some of the features which are currently only accessible by API, this will reduce intervention of support team and downtime.
Bring some features to foreground. Some users find it difficult to navigate to certain buttons which are embedded in menus.
Allow easy access to some of the controls.

Cisco meeting Server can be used to host meeting for a small group 2 people and also can host meeting for hundreds of people. Even if the scalability increases no compromise in the call and consistent performance can be observed. The video quality is clear and there is no noticeable latency between audio and video. The recording feature is well placed and it helps a lot in rectifying and processing the important points that might have been left out during the meeting.
We have Cisco WebEx and Zoom subscriptions, but these are cloud based meeting providers. We were looking for a product which can be used to host meetings at on-premise to keep the data on-prem for security. We researched, apart from Cisco Meeting Server, only Poly had a similar solution but it was quite outdated.
Pros
Video meetings
Webrtc
audio meetings
cisco call manager integrations
Cons
a bit difficult to implement
maintenance
requires a technical resource with enterprise or partner
Likelihood to Recommend
For any customer who is looking to keep their video meetings data on-premise, Cisco Meeting Server is the answer for that. Most customers want their board meeting information/recording should be on-premise as it might include secret stuff such as earnings data. They should look at it. Moreover, there is a solution called Video mesh by Cisco, wherein it can be integrated be WebEx for overflow, this can also be implemented.

Actually i use this software every day, and I remember when I used this Cisco first time that time I had to connect with 500+ people to conduct an engagement activity, and the session went very smoothly. I did not face any lagging or audio quality bugs here, everything was perfect, and it's features, like site administrators and end-users, allowed me to customize my Meeting Server site to meet my specific business needs. Adding passwords to meetings, activities, and training sessions have no effect on the feedback experience of approved attendees. Participants can easily join by going to the Meeting Server tab or clicking on the URL provided in the email invitation. And I can see this is an amazing software for conducting any large events.
We use this internally for team/departmental huddles on a weekly basis to tackle issues that might arise or hamper project progress. It is very convenient as it integrates well with Cisco Webex and 3rd party devices easily.
Pros
Integrates well with other devices
More than 1 person can be on video call with minimal lag
Quiet cost effective for a company with many employees
Cons
Sound quality can improve, sometimes, you see people talking, and the words follow 2secs after
Would be fun if they could have fun emoticons that are interactive
Perhaps they can add a notepad section for meetings where you could save documents or have an audio transcribe or summarize a meeting
Likelihood to Recommend
It's well suited if you already using other Cisco services such as Jabber and Webex, etc. as it integrates well with each other and most apps (thus also making it cost-effective). Using a Cisco service on its own is okay but would be less cost-effective and efficient.
Cisco Meeting Server was used for easy collaboration with its simple and easy-to-use features that increased the productivity of the associates using it. Features like anyone could join the meetings; high-quality communications helped a great deal in solving collaboration-related problems. It used to scale in a way that we never faced an issue of limiting the audiences for the collaboration initiatives.
Pros
Quality of Video.
Unlimited access to multiple people for same meeting.
Seamless connectivity most of the times.
Cons
Sharing recorded contents online could be easily done.
Faced issues sometimes linking with MS outlook.
Likelihood to Recommend
Very well suited for scenarios where you need to have hundreds of people attending video meetings - works very well. MS Office integration worked very well, barring a few minor issues here and there. Sometimes dealing with easy accessibility for recorded content can be a challenge when you do not have a Cisco account. The polling option could be simplified, as creating a poll is a bit tedious.

I use Cisco to communicate with colleagues across the UK, Ireland, Bulgaria, and India in a conference facility. It allows me to connect to a call without the need for a laptop and camera, as this has it all in the Enhanced Virtual Conference Room using the Cisco experience. It's often to use to facilitate and support team away days for those unable to travel in the current climate, so they are not let out for those in the room on the day.
Pros
Picture and sound quality are excellent.
Connection is strong and reliable.
It allows people at home to feel apart of the meeting on site.
Cons
Allowing more user interaction rather than just video and audio.
Split screen option to share content and view faces from those on the meeting.

I attended an onsite meeting in Newcastle, where 30 managers were invited. Only 20 were able to attend due to rail strikes. Thanks to Cisco, we were able to facilitate the meeting onsite still in Newcastle whilst we had other members dial in from home in Scotland, England and wales. Everyone at home said they felt like they were in the room due to the experience of Cisco
We need tool to easily connect within our small organization and with external clients whom we are training and consulting in the field of digital marketing and transformation. Cisco's web-based solution makes it really easy for us to connect from different devices with various clients as it works with third-party devices. The tool was easy to implement and accepted by the team. UX is super intuitive. The license has a good price compared to competitors.
Pros
Video quality.
Chat function.
Working with external customers.
Cons
More flexible license selection.
Additional applications.
Likelihood to Recommend
Good for smaller companies with many external partners due to the easy sharing setup. Probably not the best solution for bigger corporate clients where file sharing and keeping things on track are important.
We use Cisco Meeting Server as our normal video call platform for internal and for external calls and workshops. It is quite a lot in use for different other usages. Cisco Meeting Server is used for business problems such as speaking to colleagues when you don't work in the same city or even country, it is great for all the work communication that is due to various reasons online.
Pros
Group meetings
Workshops
Sales pitch
Cons
Workshop where a whiteboard could be of use
Interactive meetings
Quick calls
Likelihood to Recommend
Cisco Meeting Server is great for external calls that are scheduled a lot in advance where you have time, you can send an agenda or insert a password. It's less appropriate for quick check-up calls with colleagues or anything in that direction as it is just a bit more complicated than other apps in this area.
