Cisco Headsets are primarily utilized by organizations to enhance communication quality and flexibility, especially for remote and international interactions. Reviewers widely leverage them for clear calls and effective background noise reduction, with many noting their wireless capabilities and seamless integration with existing communication platforms. In TrustRadius reviews, users consistently highlight the product's straightforward "plug and play" setup, a benefit cited by all reviewers.
While reviewers appreciate the high-quality audio and mobile app customization for on-the-go adjustments, some users report discomfort during extended wear and express concerns about battery life, which two reviewers noted might not support full-day heavy usage. Overall, the sentiment is positive, recognizing the headsets as a reliable solution for improving communication effectiveness, despite these ergonomic and power limitations.

I’m often on calls reviewing bugs, test reports, or helping developers debug issues, and having a reliable headset really makes a difference. The biggest problem it solves for us is call clarity and background noise. In a remote setup, things like background chatter or mic echo are a big distraction. Cisco Headsets does a great job here at noise cancellation, and the mic quality is solid, people on the other end can hear me clearly, even if I’m not in a super quiet place.
Pros
Noise cancellation
The auto mute/unmute button is a small but super handy feature during team calls
Cons
Bluetooth pairing process is not good when we switch to another device
The controls on the headset can be a bit hard to locate

Cisco Headsets are perfect for remote meetings, daily standups, and client calls, especially when you need clear audio without background noise. I’ve used them during long testing sessions and even code reviews over calls, and they hold up really well in terms of comfort and sound quality.
Cisco Headset are unique! It is perfect for hybrid work, the device is elegant and comfortable. It can be managed through Webex Control Hub for inventory purposes. The mobile app allows an additional layer of management like sound equalizer for voice, music or cinema. Some models has active noise cancellation that keeps the user focused on talking even in loud places.
Pros
Intelligent, inclusive meeting experiences
Interoperable, intuitive hybrid work
Beautiful Devices for any workspace and workstyle
Empowering IT, HR, and Facilities teams
Cons
Better comfortable ear cushion
Better battery life

It works perfectly with the Webex App on desktop or mobile. It has a mute sync between the device and Webex meeting software. It has a good mic that just captures the voice. It has good Bluetooth coverage that allows users to work from some distance while keeping the connection secure and reliable.
For a long time Cisco Headsets were not good enough for our users having to go over 5h + of meetings using them and how comfortable they are. Also, the build quality was not the best, however with the new 900 lineup the quality of the products is much better than before along with more ease of use.
Pros
900 hardware quality
Ease of use
900 series rich with features competing with other headset brands
Cons
Bulk update software when use in personal mode
Price is too high

The 980 where amazing for office and home office uses, but they are bulky for traveling being in the bag or even having them on the train, but with the 950 this is being fixed by having such a compact size. NC on the 980 is amazing, still haven't tried the 950 but I hope it's the same as the 980 if not, we shall bring it up to this level.
Cisco 700 Series Headset is one of the best headsets available in the market. The sound quality is exceptional and the noise cancellation makes it even better as if you are using a very premium headset. In a company where employees are closely located it becomes difficult to speak to someone over the phone without a Bluetooth headset. Add to this, the noise around from various other sources makes it challenging to hold conversations. The noise cancellation feature did the job very well.
Cons
The customizable notifications can be improved further
There is a potential to add a quick charging feature for the battery which will reduce the charging time
There are difficulties sometimes while pairing multiple devices
Pros
Exceptional sound quality
Build quality is very good
Cushions are comfy enough

The noise cancellation is good to use in workplaces but not when you are working remotely on a train for example where you may miss out on important announcements. Although this is not a con but feels sometimes the headset cancels the noise too much.
We use Cisco Headset 500 in our organization for frequent calls with other employees & mostly for the scheduled meetings & [conferences]. The main problem it solves for us is that we are able to clearly able to communicate our views & talks with each other in the organization since we are working from home for past one year.
Cons
Noise cancellation feature should be improved.
Ability to improve integration with non-cisco devices.
Some work can also be done to make it look [fancier] as compared with other brands.
Pros
Audio quality is really good.
Fit & structure of headset is adequate.
Build material quality is really commendable.

The Cisco Headset 700 Series is exceptionally useful in environments that are very noisy such as data centers, public transportation, coffee shops, etc. They cancel out all noises around you and provide clear audio to both the remote party on the call as well as the person using the headset. They wouldn't be a very good solution for use while driving a car because they would be distracting and could cancel out important sounds for situational awareness.
We have used Cisco headsets for communication with team and clients. We have used it in our calls and Virtual meetings. The headsets earlier we were using was not having that sound quality and also some connection issues were there but with the help of Cisco headset, our this major issues have resolved and call quality are much better now. The Cisco headsets are majorly used by support, sales team and some internal team member as well in calls and meetings.
Pros
It is helping in noise cancellation. As we are working in open office space so there are much chances for noise while attending any call but by using Cisco Headset this issue is also resolved.
It has a great integration with Cisco ecosystem like Webex. The Cisco headset gets easily connect and you don't need to be in with extra setup and compatibility issues like if you are using cisco headset and the Webex app then it will connect automatically.
Cisco headset is very comfort while wearing for long hours. The padding is comfort.
Cons
Bluetooth connectivity can be improved - As it's the wireless model so sometime Bluetooth can be finicky when switching between devices.
The another areas of improvement that it has the limited customization for sound settings.
It has a limited cross platform support outside Cisco Ecosystem, it can connect easily with cisco product like Webex but has a limitations with third party tools.

Cisco headphone is good for those whose work related mainly on call like sales and support guys, also it is good for open office space as well where it reduces the noise cancellation. Cisco Headset is not suited for that environment where people are switching between Non Cisco platform more frequently like Google Meet, teams
Our challenge as a company has always been to improve hybrid work for all employees. Whether working from home or in the office, there have always been complaints about the audio quality in calls or meetings with background noise or side conversations. Our old headsets didn't have the technology needed to deliver a professional user experience. So we decided to switch from headsets to robust and reliable technology that would solve our pain points.
Pros
Active Noise Cancellation
Manageable devices
Enhanced Microphones
Cons
Foam and Batteries replacement
Better comfort for wearing it for long periods
Likelihood to Recommend
Cisco Headsets are a good choice for scenarios where the office is always busy and isolation from noise and side conversations is necessary to concentrate on work. Scenarios that require prolonged use of hours of continuous use of the headset are not suitable as the products "hurt" a little bit.
