We use Cisco DNA Analytics and Assurance to help diagnose and troubleshoot wireless and wired clients on our network. We have a mix of devices that span various networks in different physical locations. The tool allows us to have more insight into what the devices are doing and how they are communicating with the rest of the network.

We were one of the first adopters of DNAC. We use the platform to manage our floor switch environment. We use the product to provide a health status of our infrastructure, OS levels and switch upgrades where we have DNAC push the configs. We use Assurance to troubleshoot problems and forecast on potential issues.

Cons

Early on the product was unstable. Since fixed.
The need to contact the BU when TAC cannot solve the issue. This happens all the time.
Upgrades to the product are not smooth and take a great deal of time.

After configuration you don't have to spend a lot of time managing it.

May require an implementer to get this set up and running.
For a software based service that you can run on your own VM's, price is still very high.
The first setup can be a bear and you will need much help from TAC.
