Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Church Community Builder in a variety of ways. Chiefly, it functions as our church's CRM software - it keeps our main church contact info database. However, Church Community Builder is so much more than just a database of contact information. We use this wonderful program to help us plan for and coordinate various church-wide events, like our conferences and concerts. We also use Church Community Builder to help coordinate our church membership process and even scheduling our nursery volunteers. It's been incredibly helpful!

  • "Processes" option can sometimes be a bit confusing

Church Community Builder is ideal if you are seeking to connect your church members to your pastoral staff and to one another in an effective way. If you are looking to plan major events (like our church's 25th Anniversary Service, for example; or our annual Marriage Conference), then Church Community Builder will be incredibly helpful to you! Church Community Builder is also helpful for distributing items like membership applications and mass emails.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Church Community Builder is currently being used by our organization to keep track of our church members' contact information, to help church members connect with one another, and to even help us plan and coordinate church-wide events. Church Community Builder has specifically helped me in my department to stay in touch with Youth Ministry students and parents, as well as helping me guide individuals through our church membership process.

  • Helps register attendance at retreats and other church events and functions.

Cons

  • Mass email function is confusing.
  • Mass texting function is confusing.
  • Moving individuals along in the "process queue" is confusing.

Likelihood to Recommend

Church Community Builder is incredibly helpful in keeping track of the contact information of many church members. It is especially useful to the pastors of large churches, particularly when combined with the accompanying "Lead app." I definitely love the feature wherein Church Community Builder can demonstrate the familial relationships between various members within the church. If you're a pastor at a fairly sizable church, you should definitely check out Church Community Builder!
