We use Canopy for client management, project management, and time reporting. It allows us to setup TASKS under each client, then assign staff to those tasks with a hierarchy of completion that triggers the next task through to final completion. Tracking time by staff by client allows us to monitor both productivity and profitability. Our projects include monthly accounting and financial reporting, special accounting projects, payroll processing, tax accounting and tax preparation and filing. We use Canopy across our entire organization and for all of our staff. It has made a wonderful difference in the ability to manage our practice.
