A great way to track attendance

Buddy Punch was able to fix how we track our attendance. This is also a different way to punch in and out. This also fixed some of our colleagues that sometimes misses punching in or out. This ensures that we would remember doing our daily selfies when punching in and out.

I like how simple it is to handle anything; the software is quite useful for businesses. There is nothing I detest about it; it is fantastic. It makes clocking in and out of work much easier. It resolved the most of the concerns with working from home. You can see where they are logging in and out. It can also take photos, which is excellent.

I can easily plot schedules and break. I can copy the previous schedule so I don't need to enter it one by one. It save a lot of time and efforts. I, personally, use Buddy Punch to punch in & out from work, as well as enter my PTO hours. This helps me easily keep track of my hours I have worked for the week. I am also able to clearly see how many PTO hours are needed, if I'm taking any time off that week.

can't figure it out - play around a bit & you will
need to enter PTO - go to a different screen & just enter the amount of time you want to be paid for

It is easy to navigate and figure out just by taking a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the different areas and features. I use Buddy Punch every day to clock in and out of work. It makes navigating through the website so easy! I never have to worry if I clocked in correctly. It is very user friendly and so practical. Every company should use Buddy punch for their employees. It is very hassle free, and the customer service is great!

It is perfect if you need to punch in for work. Punch out for lunch. And clock out for the day. Loading the website is super-fast. The menu section makes everything very easy. I never have had an issue where I can't get to a section that I want to.

It’s the easiest app to use to login on to punch in and punch out for your job. You can track all your hours and time off hours. You can adjust the hours you need incase you make a mistake or forgot and then your supervisor we’ll only have to approve it. You can take a picture to prove your at work and sign in with so many features like face recognition or password or passcode with symbols.

Pros

Taking a picture of one to verify your the owner of the account to punch in and punch out.
Keep all your hours you work in order
Having all your time off hours
Having the option to go back and being able to see your hours from your previous work shifts

Cons

On taking the picture sometimes it said it didn’t take it and then it shows it acceptable
Punching out sometimes glitches and you have punch out already
The option to punch in without it sometimes glitching and asking for a retake of a picture

We’ll suite with asking for a picture of one to verify that your the owner of the account and less appropriate when it monitoring you completely when your viewing your hours work and the camera on when you don’t need a to take a picture to punch in or punch out.

Pros

Submitting timecards is easy.

It is very helpful especially the proper logging in & out at work. Reminding on time always and preparation of work to be done for the day. It also gives work balance by guiding the time in & out for each employee keeping track of the work to be done.

Reflecting remaining SL & VL for the current month
As well as reflecting the dates use of SL & VL
Also as the dates to SL & VL expires so the employees awareness of usage

It is best suited upon logging in wherein we are given time to prepare for the work for the day. It is also helpful during breaktime wherein we can have quality time for rest and recharge for afternoon work. As well as work balance as to proper logging out for the day.

I use Buddy Punch for time tracking and PTO accrual. This software reduces stress for me by allowing me to track my hours as is convenient instead of needing to drop what I've got my hands in already to log in and punch in or out by the time on the clock's face.

Pros

Accessibility via mobile app is wonderful. I've left the office so many times without clocking out, [and] then I'd have to ask my boss to please correct my mistake the next day. I prefer to clean up my own messes. With mobile access, I can record my punch-out after I get home, and no one is interrupted and bothered by my misstep.
I have a habit of staying at the office well past my allotted 40 hours per week. On the Buddy Punch site, I am able to quickly review my hours to help me stay within the rails. I know my bosses appreciate me keeping overtime to a minimum.
I feel very in control of my own PTO with Buddy Punch. I can see how much I've accrued at any time, decide when I want to use it, and track it for myself very easily. I prefer not to use my bosses' valuable time to do this administrative task.

Cons

I don't have any suggestions at this time.

We are a team, and we hire for an all hands on deck culture, so self-reliance and self-management are crucial for our business to run smoothly. Our buddy punch is used across the whole system and we use it for recording our punches in/ out and it tracks employees to be sure they are clocking in & out and are actually at the residence.

Pros

Allows employees to edit their time punches in the event they forget to clock in or out.
It has the option for a picture to be taken when clocking in/out to verify an employee's location. It can prove a technical issue with our laptop and time punches.
Very convenient and easy to use time-off requests, and being able to be my favorite feature! It also provides easy, clear summaries of PTO and when they can be used.

Cons

I'd love to see the feature added to allow us to view exactly what changes our supervisors made on our time cards.
Uploading a picture to your profile is very frustrating to do on this app. It wont upload a personal picture from your own files but instead it makes u take a live picture with a webcam.
I would like to see maybe a tutorial of how to use its features. The exporting feature can be pretty confusing. Also when punching in/ out on a 3rd shift (overnight) it confuses me badly by separating the punches for after midnight into a separate punch.

I think that is very convenient as far as tracking your employees when they are punching in or out to ensure they are physically at the location they are supposed to be for that shift. I also think that the option to download this app to your personal phone is amazing, it makes it more convenient to punch in or out when you aren't near a laptop or a residence to use one. The feature of being able to attach a note with your punches explaining possible late punchers or absences is very beneficial to the employee allows show proof if needed.

We use Buddy Punch for time cards for our employees. Clocking in and out. Requesting vacation and sick leave. As a manager, I approve time cards and submissions. Its simplicity in the layout is very helpful at time efficiency. Our company was using Paychex flex before and this system is much easier to use.

Cons

the simplicity can go to far in that direction. So it seems a bit sparse at times. Theres a lot of dead space on some page landings.
update on colors to be more vibrant and fun.
menu buttons to go to particular specifics like vacation and sick submissions

Likelihood to Recommend

Buddy Punch has been great at letting me as a manager know when time cards are needing to be reviewed and specifically what details need to be inspected before an overall approval. That part was intuitive to lead me where I needed to go review other time card specifics concerning vacation hours.
