We use Bonterra Network for Good to keep track of all of the donations sent to our organization. We send thank you letters to all donors the month of their donation as well as at the end of the year for tax purposes. We also use Bonterra Network for Good to send emails and letters to thank our donors apart from donations and we use it to do our annual letter every year.
It is very user friendly for nonprofits. There are many options for reaching out and running donation campaigns. It is extremely easy to keep track of donations monthly and to make sure all end of the year tax letters are sent. We have been using it for several years with very little problems. The only downside I would say, is the cost. It is very expensive for nonprofits, especially when there are lower cost software out there.
We use Bonterra Network for Good for donor management, CRM, donation management and tracking, donor communication, ticket sales, donation processing, and donor tax documentation. We continue to find new ways to utilize the software as new functions are rolled-out. The product addresses the majority of needs that a small nonprofit require, all rolled into one product. It allows for communication, financials, CRM, and many other things all under one "roof".
Bonterra Network for Good has been vital in my work in Finance and Administrative tasks for our small nonprofit. It has allowed for us to provide better customer service to our donors with all of the newer functions that have been implemented and the increased ways in which we can interface with our donors' donations, such as manually updating credit cards, and being able to enter new donations for the donors without having to call. With each new rollout of increased features, we find more ways to better serve our donors, and in turn serve our mission.
We use Bonterra Network for Good for all of our donor management, fundraising, and volunteer organization. Managing all three of these things on separate software and teaching that software to office staff and volunteers is a time consuming tedious task. This puts all three at your fingertips in an intuitive software that's easy to learn!
Bonterra Network for Good is great for all fundraising, webpage integration, and donor management. I love to use it to send out an email blast to our donors. I can send to each of our donors in one click. That is easy to teach and learn! I also send out texts to volunteers daily with one click as well. That makes my job so much easier.
Before we started using Bonterra Guided Fundraising (NFG), we kept track of our donors and donations on a spreadsheet. The extent of our fundraising efforts were four newsletters a year. Once we switched to Bonterra Guided Fundraising (NFG), we saw an immediate increase in donor interaction and giving. The software gives us the tools we need including step-by-step giving plans, methods for data collection, and valuable training and technical support. Our donor gifts have increased significantly, and we now have a relationship with these donors that goes beyond their giving to our organization.
I believe that Bonterra Guided Fundraising (NFG) is a great resource for your small to medium sized non-profit. From our own experience, Bonterra Guided Fundraising dramatically improved our non-profit giving and taught us how to interact with our donors.
As we grow, we are needing more tools for finding major donors, grant writing, and legacy giving.
We use Bonterra Guided Fundraising for multiple aspects of our fundraising: donor records, communication, campaigns, and guidance. I switched to Bonterra Guided Fundraising in 2019 because I needed a better dashboard, easy-to-pull reports, all-in-one communication, and something intuitive. I am still using Bonterra Guided Fundraising because it has met those needs and made me a better fundraiser.
For new fundraisers, it is incredible. I recommend adding a coach to your package.
The dashboard has essential information that is well-presented.
I suspect that Bonterra Guided Fundraising is better suited for nonprofits that have donor databases of under 7500 donors.
Our nonprofit finds the platform and ease of Network for Good's owned by Bonterra Guided Fundraising keeps us as active users. They register in every state so we do not have to, and keep us raising resources around the country in an ethical way.
From trainings to data management, from campaigns to resource distribution the platform does its job week after week.
Repair the Sea started using Bonterra (Network for Good) almost two years ago. We needed a platform that provided an all-inclusive donor management system for our start-up non-profit, and this platform satisfied that need. We use BGF to keep track of our donors and other individuals around the world who are involved and believe in our mission of protecting the aquatic environment from a Jewish perspective.
Each time I have called, emailed, or messaged Customer Support, they have been very patient and very helpful in trying to address my concern or explain how to do something. As a relatively new user, customer support is very important to our organization from both an efficiency and customer communication perspective. Response time is very important, and Bonterra's Customer Support wins my vote for this feature.
Our main use of Bonterra Guided Fundraising is through their donor tracking software. Here, we store information about people who have donated in the past, and use their contact applications to send them thank yous/initiate donor retention. We also love their campaign platform, which allows us to promote and track various events we have going on throughout the year. We do a lot of different things and the software enables us to keep track of which events were successful, even on a multi-location level. We have about 20k profiles in our system and use it for 3 different locations.
Bonterra Guided Fundraising is great for an organization that is growing. The platform is versatile enough to be used simultaneously by many people and has enough features that no other software is necessary. If a mid-sized organization is holding a Fundraising Gala with an auction, for example, this guided fundraising platform is great. This would not be a necessary software for a nonprofit that was smaller and didn't have a ton of people to keep track of. The expense wouldn't make sense as, with a little effort, many of the same things could be accomplished through free tools like Excel and Email -- they just wouldn't look quite as formal and polished.
Before using Bonterra Guided Fundraising software, we were unable to effectively reach our donor to be able create, execute, and track campaigns. We could not effectively thank our donors for their support. Further, we had no database of that allowed us to categorize our donors and volunteers with all of their contact info. Since we switched to Bonterra Guided Fundraising, our donations are up, we have a growing number of recurring donors and support for new campaigns is immediate. We can now send out text and email blasts complete with the analytics we need. And speaking of analytics, being able to instantly see and communicate with lapsed donors is invaluable. And in those moments where we need to see some obscure slice of our donations, the Bonterra Guided Fundraising filters allow us to see exactly what we want and we can download it into a CSV file so we can create all the charts we want.
Any organization that has a diverse group of contacts some of whom are donors should be using Bonterra Guided Fundraising. We have four significant groups of people in our Bonterra Guided Fundraising database: donors, volunteers/supporters, prison unit chaplains, and staff. I am to separate out communication that is appropriate for each group or include everyone in a communication with just a click. Organizations that don't want to grow, thank people for their support, run targeted campaigns, raise money or be effective shouldn't use Bonterra Guided Fundraising.
