We switched to Bitdefender GravityZone to replace an existing small office security product.
Pros
In our experience, completely messed up our systems by deleting/quarantining files without prompt
Cons
In our experience, customer support is very slow
In my opinion, far from being user friendly or easy to use
In my opinion, more granular installation/creation of installation package about which actions should be taken if possible threat is detected
In my opinion, not just install their software but go through every single option to make sure everything is set correctly
I think better training
In our experience, restoring files does not work
Likelihood to Recommend
In our experience, only suited if you exactly know upfront which file filters you need to set up in Bitdefender GravityZone so exceptions on files can be handled, else they expect the admin to set up rules for files exeptions where even the admin will not know what files will come in via mails.
We use bitdefender as one of our managed antivirus options. It seems to pick up the things we need it to and offers an additional layer of protection in our security stack. We utilize it along with a firewall, phishing training, EDR, MDR, and several other pieces of security software.
Pros
Virus Protection.
Global Policies.
Central Management.
Cons
GUI navigation.
Better training.
Ease of use.

If you need a centrally managed AV solution for your clients, Bitdefender Gravity Zone is a great option. We use it for our clients who want a strong AV system and other network security tools we offer. It is a nice addition to all of the different security features we offer.
We implement their cloud hosted AV and EDR product. Does not slow down machines and provides amazing protection and defense to all the networks we support. It is great to have a product that has come through time and time again protecting our clients from themselves as well as online threats.
Pros
Runs seamlessly on computers
Great real-time updates
Proactive threat protection has been flawless so far
Cons
I wish the billing portal was easier to understand
Slightly more granular control of the settings
make alerts easier to configure
Likelihood to Recommend
It is great for any company that wants to protect their endpoints. We have scripted the install and had it work very well. The EDR platform is great and has caught many threats. Not necessary for home users but would work great if someone wanted to take the time to setup Bitdefender GravityZone portal. Wish the portal made a little more sense and was easier to navigate.

I use Bitdefender GravityZone for one of the small businesses I support. This business has 12 computers spread across 3 sites. The product is able to protect all these machines against malicious threats from outside of the organization (email, phishing, attachment attacks etc.), and also against intended or unintended attacks from within, e.g. someone putting an infected USB device into a PC port. I can see at a glance how the product is protecting the devices within the Company and how many times it gets attacked, along with the source of the attack and how Bitdefender has removed or made the machines safe again.
Pros
Block and disinfect threats
Protect devices from internal and external attack
Scale for more users and computers
Show current status of every machine in the company
Cons
Making it easier to create an endpoint package to deploy to a new PC on the network.
Likelihood to Recommend
BitdefenderGravityZone is well suited for use within an organization or Company where there are multiple users and computers (more than 2 or 3 PCs) , since it is very scalable and becomes more efficient to use with the more machines you protect. From a remote support point of view, the product is excellent and saves a huge amount of time, particularly as the number of machines increase in a business; not only that but you can manage many different businesses from the same console.
Bitdefender GravityZone is the main solution for EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) in our organization and our clients' organizations aswell. Precise, reliable, providing one of the best heuristic detection engine in the market. The agent is light and the cloud platform is higly customizable, this is one the best choice for a EDR
Pros
Heuristic Detection
Constantly updated
The Dashboard is intuitive and easy to use
Cons
Whitelisting can be tricky sometimes
A small/medium organization can lose itself in the maze of the licensing
Linux protection can be highly improved
Likelihood to Recommend
In terms of EDR, Bitdefender GravityZone is probably the best out there. The product promptly respond to threat pointing out suspicious attack paths, MiTRE ATTCK patterns and malicious files of connections. The policy configuration is broad and covers anything an IT Operation team may need. With ransomwares it's really the best EDR.

It is installed on my endpoints (servers and computers/laptops). We also have an email security add-on for filtering spam, phishers, and virus-ridden emails. It also is used to scan links in emails that could lead to infected websites which otherwise would have made their way onto our network.
Pros
Syncs with AD
On top of latest threats
Blocks bad links
Cons
Tech Support
Video Tutorials
SLA - Response time
Instruction manuals
Likelihood to Recommend
The product itself is great and does a good job. Support is terrible. It takes days/weeks to get a response. I've asked for assistance in setting up custom filters to stop certain emails, and get a constant back and forth email correspondence asking me to submit samples. I don't want to do that, I only want instructions. I've asked for tutorials/manuals so I can read and hopefully set it up myself, and I'm told they don't have what I need. There is no way to support yourself or learn. They won't offer remote support, as I've requested. Oh, and they absolutely will NOT assist in the initial setup. They don't do that. They only help if you have an issue. No, they don't even do that.
We are a managed service provider. We used to use Kaspersky but made the switch to Bitdefender [GravityZone]. It is a night and day comparison between the two. No more false positives no more bogged down CPUs, it just works. As a tech, I save so much time not having to look into reported threats that are not really threats. Bitdefender [GravityZone] is great.
Pros
Catching threats before they can replicate and ruin
Runs silently without bogging down system resources
Works well on Mac and Windows
Very easy to make changes across entire organizations
Antivirus and Anti-malware protection in one product
Cons
The redesigned web console is hard to navigate.
Support is not the best, sometimes slow to respond.
The full installer package is rather large.
Likelihood to Recommend
If you have a need to protect your internal systems or those of a client, and everyone should have this need, Bitdefender [GravityZone] is the antivirus of choice. It runs silently and doesn't kill your system resources. It catches every single threat thrown its way. We sleep better at night knowing that Bitdefender [GravityZone] is keeping us and our clients safe.

Bitdefender GravityZone is being used by our whole organization. It is an amazing product! The main business problem it addresses is our security! It protects all our Windows workstations, Windows servers, and Macs. It has a very small footprint and barely uses any system resources, yet runs very efficiently. Very little user interaction is required to keep our systems safe.
Pros
Network attack defense
Ransomware prevention
Web-based, no hardware needed
Picks up threats early that other providers do not
Cons
Support is sometimes hard to get a hold of.
The installer package is very small but needs to download files, can take a while on slower networks.
Support documentation is not written for the average end-user.
Likelihood to Recommend
Bitdefender GravityZone is well suited for all departments throughout an organization. It doesn't just target one user's needs. It picks up threats that other antivirus solutions do not. It has antivirus and anti-malware features in a single piece of software with a very small footprint on the systems it is installed on.

We deploy Bitdefender GravityZone to a number of different clients, across multiple different segments. These clients range in size from 10 employees up to 200. We deploy Bitdefender GravityZone to all workstations and servers both [on] Windows and macOS. We have used multiple antivirus software packages in the past and have never found anything that comes close to Bitdefender GravityZone.
Pros
Antivirus
Anti-malware
Device firewall
Web protection
Cons
Redesign the portal to make it more like the previous portal
Support response is sometimes slow
Large installer package
Likelihood to Recommend
It just works. I have seen multiple viruses and malware get past other antivirus software like TrendMicro, Webroot, and Kaspersky. Bitdefender GravityZone always catches what others miss. It has a very light footprint when it comes to system resources. The centralized management console is nice, but I prefer the console before they redesigned the UI.

We are a managed service provider and have approximately 50 clients that we deploy Bitdefender GravityZone to. We also use it as our in-house antivirus solution. It provides us with peace of mind knowing that we are very unlikely to see a widespread malware or virus outbreak while this software is in use.
Pros
Stops outbreaks before they get a chance to really get started
Stops connections to potential fraudulent/phishing websites
Very quick scans and updates
Easy to manage with policies for each client
Cons
More granular reporting would be nice
Support response times are not the greatest
Please go back to the previous UI for the management console
Likelihood to Recommend
We have used multiple antivirus products in the past and none even come close to comparing to Bitdefender GravityZone. Bitdefender [GravityZone] has a very small footprint when it comes to system resources and it catches any threat thrown at it with very few false positives.
