A useful tool that could be improved upon

IncentivizedUse Cases and Deployment Scope
Our marketing department uses Bing Webmaster Tools; we are the only ones in the organization that use it. Our primary use for Bing Webmaster Tools is submitting new URLs on our website for indexing. When we have a new page on our site, or a new blog post, we submit it to Bing Webmaster Tools for indexing to make sure they crawl it.
Pros
- Make it easy to submit new pages to be crawled
- SEO reports provide feedback on our webpages that aren't following best-practices
- Overall there are a lot of different second-level tools that you may not know exist until you begin using it
Cons
- The user-interface isn't as friendly or appealing as Google's - very bland overall.
- The way they present their Page Traffic report is a big turn-off. It's basically just a grid of numbers and arrows which is hard to interpret at a high level.

Bing Webmaster Tools isn't as useful of a tool as Google Webmaster, but it's still necessary to have. If you want to be found on search engines, making sure your site is indexed by all major engines (Google and Bing/Yahoo) is very important. But in most cases we really only use Bing Webmaster Tools when we absolutely have to - Google Webmaster can do everything we need it to and more and is where we live primarily.
