We use Backupify to back up our Google and our Microsoft domains accounts for our staff. We do not back up our student accounts. This allows us to grab data that has been deleted or lost from all areas include Drive, Calendar, Email, and Contacts. It has been a great solution for disaster recovery and for malice deletion.

Anywhere you are trying to back up files for Microsoft or for Google and want a disaster recovery solution is a great time to use Backupify. It is a very simple interface that includes an audit section to show all history of restorations as well. It keeps much longer back ups of files than Google does and is much easier to use than Google Vault

Datto Backupify is used to back up our Gmail and Google Docs in the GSuite. The backup is used for disaster recovery and data recovery.

In the past, we have had many challenges. [In my opinion], here are the most pertinent ones: Firstly, [I have found that when] backups fail, there is no notification and it is up to the user to notice. Thus you may well be paying for a service that doesn't work [in my view]. Secondly, Backupify recently moved their platform and the legacy data we had spent 8 years backing up, is no longer searchable as it was before. The most infuriating part of this change, [that I've discovered], was the lack of communication to the user base. It took [us] 6 months with support to understand the exact nature of the change. Also, [I found] that they will not do anything about this apart from add a 'feature request'. [The way I understood] the reply from the CSM was that if we don't like this, we can simply leave. As a long-standing customer [I believe] the way we were treated was disheartening and unprofessional given that you need a backup provider to be with you for the long term. [In my opinion] the change from Backupify to Datto has not been a positive experience.

Backupify is a set it and forget it solution for the Office 365 suite. It is backing up the entire tenant (SharePoint, OneDrive, email, etc.) in the background.

Simplicity in setting up is the key to its success.

Backupify has been a great SaaS cloud backup solution that has the ability to grant access to end users - perfect for MSPs! With infinite retention it’s definitely worth the cost!

Perfect to ensure any retention due to random, dodgy employees deleting emails prior to resigning or just accidental deletion without realizing for months.
