I used it in some personal projects for third-party clients. I needed some computer vision capabilities to detect zones on plants and among different options to execute this analysis, Microsoft Computer Vision offered some of the best overall capabilities. It offers out-of-the-box capabilities than options such as OpenCV, you require more experience and knowledge about the approach you need for the best results.

It offers a great option for IoT and simple repetitive tasks with simple configuration but it requires having previous knowledge of Microsoft tools to get familiar with how to use it. I also think it is excellent for classification especially if your requirements about specific tools could need a lot of studies.
