Aptean Industrial Manufacturing ERP Traverse Edition

The Aptean Industrial Manufacturing ERP TRAVERSE edition is a business accounting software suite for small- to medium-sized businesses using the Microsoft Windows operating system, that can be hosted on-premises or in the cloud, or in a hybrid fashion. Traverse runs using the Microsoft SQL Server database. In versions released from 1994 to 2009, Traverse was coded with Visual Basic for Applications, and operated as a Microsoft Access application. The current version is coded using the C# programming language within the Microsoft .NET framework, and no longer requires Microsoft Access.

Traverse features general accounting (e.g. a general ledger) and also analytics for budgeting and expense management, multiple users with access control, and it contains sales and inventory management features. It is customizable, with custom fields, forms, and functions. Its full breadth provides business intelligence functionality and a CRM if these should be desired, and the software is mobile-accessible. Given the many ways in which Traverse can be implemented its cost will vary.
