Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm a big fan of AppsAnywhere in the organization i deployed it. It makes it so much easier to deploy and manage applications across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. AppsAnywhere helps us solve the problem of having to manually update applications on multiple devices, and also ensures that users always have access to the most up-to-date version. We use it for a variety of tasks including application deployment, remote management, and user access control.

Pros

It's incredibly user friendly and provides great functionality for deploying, managing and accessing apps.
The integration with my existing IT infrastructure is seamless and the customisation options are really helpful for optimising the user experience.
The analytics it provides are also really useful for keeping track of usage.

Cons

The search function could be more intuitive.
I feel like there could be more options for customizing the look and feel of the app.

I have been monitoring the use of this app for the past year now and it has been incredibly useful in providing my team with easy access to the applications they need. It is well suited to organizations with a large variety of applications and users that need to access them from multiple devices. It has been very easy to deploy, manage and maintain, and I love the fact that users can easily find what they need without having to navigate complex menus. (search can still be abit better). Still a really good pick :)

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

AppsAnywhere is a single stop shop solutions to have all the apps at one place and which makes life easier to make students engage better and also have the software ready to use and experiment without having to manually install each every piece of software, the title system of the icon makes it easier to use.

Pros

straight forward user interface to get people using it
navigation through it is a breeze
question and answers chat option to get queries resolved

Cons

a bit laggy
user interface can be improved
integration is a bit rusty

The student point of view it very simple and effective to deliver session to students and also assign assign ment which can have active discussion by the students to understand the concept and I would say that good tool to get started for a student.

I would say that on a enterprise side of the things it needs lot of revamp on the integration and making the speed of the tool faster while the users are making use of multiple apps on the platform.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The university uses AppsAnywhere to deploy, install and launch a wide range of applications to Windows machines on any of our campuses. Some applications are very large and time consuming to install on every machine individually. Updates and licensing restrictions, including maximum number of seats, can then be managed centrally. From the student's point of view, there is a 'one-stop shop' for any specialist application, which is always in the same place, regardless of where you are working exactly.

Cons

AppsAnywhere is difficult to find to start it. End-users don't know to look for 'AppsAnywhere' or what it looks like. They tend to look under the Start menu when looking for the target specialist application - can't find it. On the task bar, end-users do not recognise the AppsAnywhere icon. It can be frustrating to show them
once in AppsAnywhere the search box does not stand our, so users tend to scroll down a very long list of 100's of applications to get to 'ZBrush'. the filters provided are not particularly useful eg most categories include nearly the entire set of applications
AppsAnywhere does not automatically learn your frequently delivered applications, so there is no 'Recents'. Users can create a list of Favourites manually, but this is too bothersome

AppsAnywhere is basically suitable for its purpose, despite some usability problems. In our place, applications can in principle be delivered to other machines (not owned by us but by the end-user), who are not even on-site - provided the user can connect to our domain, almost any kind of device is ok. However, I have not tried that myself. The UI could let people work faster, but only by a little, and most people get there in the end. It is basically quite simple to use and appealing to look at

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

AppsAnywhere is resolving the problem of accessing programs without downloading the original softwares. It helps me because I can use it on my computer without worrying about technical issues or performance degradation, I don't even need to download those heavy softwares. It doesn't even matter if I'm using MAC or windows, this app works on both.

It works on both Mac and Windows
Easy access to softwares
I can use Windows-support software while using Mac system

Cons

It doesn't have mobile version
Internet re-connection can be improved
It can be more user-friendly

Likelihood to Recommend

Its most helpful function for me is I can launch some Windows-only softwares on my Macbook, I don't need to simulate a windows system anymore, neither do I need to download those heavy apps. It has apps like Blender, RStudio which are very heavy in terms of resources and one can use it without any load on their systems.

I use AppsAnywhere in my workplace university. AppsAnywhere is the software we use to give our staff access to the software used for work. It can be accessed on campus or off campus, whenever you have your internet connection. Both Windows and Mac users can use AppsAnywhere, as it is compatible with both.

Mobile accessibility
Compatible with any operating system
Ideal for university students and staff

Cons

Quicker customer support responses
Antivirus and malware protection would be good additions
File transfer options would be a good feature
