I use Amplitude Analytics to track user behavior in our mobile app specifically within funnels I want to track and analyze when users drop off out of the funnel. This helps me prioritize testing improvements at the steps where I see the highest rate of drop off increasing the rate in which users make it to the conversion step. I use Amplitude to understand steps within a mobile product as well as the behavior of users coming in through marketing efforts to track effectiveness of those marketing campaigns.
Pros
Tracking attributed marketing efforts with a conversion metric
Show details steps in a conversion funnel and the rate in which users complete those steps
Show retention rates of various audiences to track overtime
Compare time periods to visualize changes in the rates in which an event is happening
Cons
More onboarding materials for brand new users.
How to's to better understand the unique data that your company has integrated with. Each team is different, names things differently, tracks things differently, having something for data engineers to fill out to educate a broader audience would be helpful
More resources for marketers

Amplitude Analytics is an excellent solution for anyone with a mobile app and you want to track what users are doing, are they completing conversion steps, and are they coming back more often. This all helps you visual your customer bases engagement and help project future engagement and create goals. This also helps with prioritizing products to address drop-off points in the product to increase conversions.
Amplitude has been my organization's primary solution to the challenge of gathering insights about our customers that can inform our product strategy. Our key priority is to know our customers better at all stages of their engagement, and Amplitude provides the data we need to drive good product decisions. We've currently implemented over 50 events mapped to core site experiences and pathways that we want to gather data on, to assess if those product areas are meeting their KPIs.
Pros
Self-serve, actionable analytics on in-product customer behavior delivered quickly
Deep exploration of customer behavior data with multiple segmentation options, funnels, etc
Scalable & built for team adoption
Allows data governance by product & non-technical users
Cons
Some offerings seem duplicative, like dashboards and notebooks, which only seem to differ in that one can subscribe to dashboards
The messaging on valid vs invalid property types could be better explained to clarify which types (string, Boolean, integer, etc) are expected in particular scenarios. Though the type is usually set during event creation, we've often seen examples where the data received in production is different, leading to 'invalid type' errors
Likelihood to Recommend
I would highly recommend Amplitude to people in the product and business analytics domains who have a need for deep, data-driven insights into customer behavior, accessible in a self-service platform. Amplitude stands out in its comprehensiveness and flexibility; once events are implemented, there are a multitude of options to combine, track, form journeys, and dive deeper into user behavior. Though the barrier for entry is a little bit steep, Amplitude is more friendly to non-technical users than other business insight platforms, without compromising the effectiveness of the analysis tools.
Amplitude may not be best suited for web marketing analytics - traffic, page views, etc - since it is more focused on full-platform product analytics.

We used the paid enterprise plan to simplify the experience of our users (digital healthcare) while trying to turn clicks into visits to offices/clinics. It was a great way to get a snapshot of who visits the site then a physical location.
Pros
Engagement
Retention
Support materials
Cons
Event segmentation UX could be easier (but it isn’t bad at all)
Can be initially hard for a non-analyst to use
Moving data to/from
Likelihood to Recommend
Great for setting up cohort view kinda hard at start to get our in-house data people up to speed and to embrace it. Once semi-fluent, the embrace happened quickly and ownership ensued. Change is difficult, so adoption on AA is no different than any other change. There will be leaders and laggers
We use Amplitude Analytics to: Increase the Retention rate of our most valuable Experiment with Features and Measure Outcomes to drive Product Roadmaps Personalize Product Experiences based on Behavioral Data
Pros
Providing insights into Customer Behavior and Product Usage
Integration with Business Applications
Customer Segmentation
Cons
Need to provide more depth in capabilities for dashboard customization
Not as intuitive as some other competitors and requires training effort
Needs more flexibility to adapt to changing data structures
Likelihood to Recommend
Amplitude Analytics is well suited for scenarios where you have multiple data points to understand customer behavior and journeys and utilize simple to medium complexity graphs/charts. It may not be suitable for scenarios where you need to slice and dice data into highly customizable dashboards as that requires significant effort from technical teams.

Our business is about our users and the decisons made by them. We have tried so many softwares and yet we finally decided to stay with it. It does wonders
We are using Amplitude Analytics as one of our tools to produce analytics and insights internally. We are able to connect it to many different sources and produce nice charts that are used to take decisions furthermore. Of course, we have some other tools, and combined with Amplitude makes it possible to reach what we need.
Pros
Pretty Charts
Good free tier
Cons
It's not that flexible in my opinion.
It could be improved in terms of historical charts.
Likelihood to Recommend
Amplitude Analytics is good if you are not sure yet about which tool to use in your company, using their free tier you can check in advance if you can connect all data sources you need and produce the charts you expect. In general, is a good tool with more than enough features.

We use Amplitude to track users' funnel. We have a different level of telecallers, based on the state of the user (inside our app like only signed up, or moved 1 level forward) lead is assigned to a specific caller. So for tracking the state of the user we use Amplitude.
Pros
Very well dashboard, clearly show states for specific date range.
It even gives you details on how many user's uninstalled the app, which no other competitor provides.
Multi users, multi dashboard view available.
Cons
Customizing dashboard is one time pain, it really took long time for us.
Integration is also one time pain; took ~2 weeks.
Moblie app view for dashboards are not good.
Likelihood to Recommend
If your leads to the sales funnel are a multi-step process and require different levels of expertise to convert, then Amplitude can help you in tracking user's state. Also, it helps in giving a deep view of all business metrics.
We use Amplitude Analytics for analytics on both our website analytics and product analytics.
Pros
Closed funnels
User flows
User segregation
Deep dive into specifics
Cons
Some more clarity and examples of implementation with GDPR in mind
Some segregation inside user properties can be difficult to implement
Splicing information inside funnels could be more intuitive
User support for the cheaper tiers is hard to access
Pricing transparency really needs to be improved
Likelihood to Recommend
All in all, it's a great analytics tool and really gives you much more detailed and granular information than Google Analytics. The interface is very similar to its greatest competitor, with a few noticeable improvements in the UX and UI. The free tier is perfect for a startup looking to try it and get insight before scaling to a bigger plan. The main issue I guess is that if you're working with the EU you need to get your legal team involved to make sure you're abiding by GDPR and have consent popups and whatnot which can be a bit time-consuming and annoying.
Amplitude is used as our premier product analytics tool for the LXME mobile app, helping us understand quantitative behavior of our users. It helps us understand which features of our app users are using the most, how often do they use the same, time taken for users to activate/place orders and how different cohorts of users in the app behave with respect to each other.
Pros
Feature analytics - measuring frequency of usage
Time taken by users to convert in funnels
Actions that drive certain user behaviors in funnels via correlation
Actions that lead to user drop off in funnels via correlation
Comparing behavior of two custom user cohorts
Cons
Tracking app uninstalls - very much needed for apps
User path finders feature can have better visualization, allowing PMs and designers to understand in a much more clear way, the path their users are taking
