Cons

The best example I could give is if I were recommending SEO software to a beginner. It would have the shortest learning curve when compared to competitive SEO software like SEMRush or SpyFu. The Ahrefs Academy is just one example of why this is the case. I learned a lot from the academy in just one day, and it stuck.
We use Ahrefs for SEO research - backlink discovery, keyword volume estimates, competitor tracking, etc. It's a very comprehensive tool and can help with almost all phases of content planning and keyword optimization. It does NOT do a ton on the technical SEO side - but there are other tools we can use for that. It's one of our 'must have' tools.
Pros
Keyword research
Content mapping
Backlink tracking
SEO and PPC comparisons
Cons
Technical SEO
Internal Linking
Detailed PPC data
Likelihood to Recommend
Ahrefs is a must have in the SEO toolbox. It is one of the leading tools in the industry for serious SEO research. It can do almost everything you need on the non-technical side of SEO. In my opinion, it is not great if you need a detailed technical tool that identifies errors and helps with fix suggestions. In that instance, I think there are better tools on the market. But - for content and keyword related tasks, I think it's must have.

The best feature that I use about Ahrefs is the keyword tool. One feature that Ahref is better than the other products is the backlink report. Ahrefs gives me a more detailed information on the backlink link than any other tools I have used. I am usually satisfied with the results that Ahrefs shares with me concerning my website. However, I find Ahrefs pricing a bit toward the higher side. May be the team can decrease the prices or add some discounts etc.,
Pros
Backlink Report
SEO Audits
Keyword Research
Topic research
competition analysis
Cons
A better view at rankings. Sometimes the rankings are not correct.
Price point is a bit too high.
The SEO audit should be available in the free version

Ahrefs is best suited when we need to do a backlink analysis and also when we need to do a complete technical SEO audit. My team mostly uses the tool for backlink purpose and audits, we also use the same for tasks such as Keyword research, topic research, understanding the difficulty of the keywords. We do also use the tool for a competitive research.
I've been using Ahrefs for the past 6 months and it's been a game changer for our SEO strategy. With the detailed backlink analysis and keyword research, we've been able to improve our organic search traffic significantly. Highly recommend for any team looking to improve their SEO efforts. One of my favorite features is the ability to monitor our competitors' backlink profiles, which has helped us identify potential link-building opportunities. The site explorer tool is also great for analyzing the top-performing pages on any website, which has helped us optimize our own content. The user interface is easy to navigate and the support team is always available to help with any questions. Overall, Ahrefs is an essential tool for any team looking to improve their SEO and content marketing efforts. It helped us in identifying the gaps and opportunities in our website and also helped us to track our progress over time. it is a must-have tool for any digital marketer
Pros
Used it for potential keyword research and analysis for database support services related to industry
SERP rankings were analyzed and insights were drawn
Competitor search gave us more details on the traffic and backlink profile
Cons
the user interface can be a bit overwhelming at times and I've found it difficult to navigate to certain features
I've been disappointed with the lack of historical data for certain metrics
I would like to see more granular data for certain reports such as the ability to filter by specific subfolder or subdomain.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited to industry-level keyword research and insights on backlink profiles. It covers all the major key aspects in terms of volume, CPC, competition, etc. If you are looking for a tool that specializes in social media analytics, Ahrefs would not be the best choice. If you are a small business with a limited budget, Ahrefs might not be the most cost-effective option as it is a paid tool and the cost might be high.

There are a number of great SEO tools out there, including Semrush and Ahrefs, but I think personally i'd give the edge to Ahrefs. It is a fantastic tool for identifying high volume, low competition keywords and crafting an article structure that will ideally perform well in the Google algorithm's eyes, and ideally move up the rankings quickly.

I would rate it 8/10 because its result match Google Serp Result. I think it's all in one Seo tools box which gives a lot of options under a single dashboard Nothing is perfect in this world. it has some lacks as well Fetching data and some time it causes an error and slow loading that can lead to bad User experience
Modern online promotion strategies and analysis is impossible without data provided by services like Ahrefs. If my customers demand an effective SEO strategy I always recommend Ahrefs subscription, both for competitor and inhouse websites analysis, potential keywords for content strategy etc. Ahrefs helps with understanding how a company can get top ranked positions in search engines via analyzing backlink profiles of those who are already in TOP5.

We use Ahrefs as a key part of our SEO strategy. It is essential in guiding our link-building strategies and as we have begun to master the software we have used more and more of its features including keyword research and competitor analysis.
Pros
Keyword Research
Link building
Competitive analysis
Cons
It is very capable and thus more complicated than its competitors
It is expensive and there is no free trial
Likelihood to Recommend
When you can afford it Ahrefs is the most capable of all its competitors. However, it requires someone who really understands SEO and is willing to put in the time to learn the tool and make use of everything. If anyone is new to the SEO world I would recommend choosing a different software.
