We use ADP WFN for payroll, tax, and employee record-keeping. This enables us to consolidate all our information in one place.
Pros
Tax filing.
Training
The Bridge.
Cons
Faster turnaround on service requests.
More detail when receiving a payroll error.
Likelihood to Recommend
I believe that your experience with WFN largely depends on the level of knowledge your payroll specialist possesses. We have one of the best. We have gone through several that were lacking knowledge before we got the one we have now.
ADP Workforce Now has been and will continue to be an asset as it has the ability to scale and grow with our company. We use the system are our HRIS, payroll, time keeping, performance reviews, housing employee documents, recruiting, customized onboarding, and more. Something that ADP was able to address for our company, is the ability to have two sibling companies housed in our ADP account. Employees of each company are able to have their own branded experience and access to ADP Workforce Now, while allowing payroll, time keeping, and benefits to be run in the same place on the backend.
Pros
Integrate different information modules, which limited the need to enter information in multiple places.
ADP Workforce Now is pretty intuitive for our managers, very little training was needed when we moved to ADP.
ADP actually listens to product feedback. I have had several instances where I saw ADP make a change that I had submitted feedback about, and also times where ADP reached out in response to feedback to get further insight into my experience.
Cons
Having more capability built into the talent pool and recruitment module. I will say that I was on a call with ADP to get insights about improvements they are working on in this area.
Creating the ability for employees to submit time card edits to their manager for approval. Currently, if the system catches that there was a punch missed it will prompt the employee to make a correction - or example if the first punch an employee made was Out for lunch, the and the system will assume that there is a missing In to start work punch. However, if the system didn't catch that there might be an error - employees can't submit a correction for approval. Right now the only other options is to allow an employee to make an edits without any approval.
More capability when it comes to sending out documents that require employee electronic signatures - such as filter to select who to send the document to, the ability to easily pull a report to see who still needs to sign the document, and a way to send out a reminder Only to the people who haven't signed. Right now you can send out documents, but have to manually follow up/sent reminders.
Simplified / Improved reports. While ADP is known for their reporting, it sometimes can be difficult to find a report that contains the information you want, or when creating a customer report, there are so many options it can be difficult to quickly get the information you are looking for.
Likelihood to Recommend
ADP Workforce Now for a long time was a "big company" software solution, but not friendly to smaller businesses. They are actively improving their systems to accommodate small and mid sized businesses - which is a good fit for a growing business. I would probably not recommend ADP Workforce Now for a very small company or one not looking to expand quickly - there may be more user friendly systems at a better price point.

I am the Director of Finance, so I use ADP for 401k, payroll, and timecard management. Our HR team also uses the benefits, talent, and onboarding portals. I have had great experience with the flow of information setup. I was a part of the team that finalized many items to develop a process, but ADP made it easy. It is user-friendly on the employee end and has all the tools you need as a practitioner. They address specific issues like syncing information acquiring a potential employee to ensure their PTO accrues on schedule and their 401k is active. I have had a few issues that their support team can resolve, and they continue to grow and expand, fulfilling my needs.
Pros
Notifying superiors of missed entries.
Preparing W-9s and highlighting errors.
Generating useful reports in short time.
Company wide, and group based mass changes.
Cons
The limitations in payroll functions that require backend assistance.
The scope of knowledge of the support team.
Certain aesthetic updates that are unnecessary and have caused confusion.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for companies that have over 50 employees working in multiple departments and should be allocated in specific ways. It can help get all their information from the beginning point of interviews to the end in which a check is produced, allowing the employee to update their information and add their direct deposit.
We use ADP Workforce Now for everything with the exception of recruitment and will soon be transitioning to ADPs recruitment module. Business problems addressed are plentiful as they occur however recently with the performance dashboard. I love the updates! I use the platform as a practitioner and employee which affords me the ability to see the system operations from all ends.
Pros
Integration
Analytics

Cons
Product feedback (implementation)
Consistency (support)
More onsite training opportunities

It’s well suited and has the ability to address large and small business needs.
We use ADP Workforce Now as our HRIS and have all our benefits and 401k feeds flowing from our carriers to ADP. We process payroll through ADP as well and performance module is a part of our account.
Pros
The reporting on the Administration side is excellent
Handling complex state and local tax issues
Ease of integrating our partners through feeds
Cons
The employee app can be hard to use at times and more user friendly
Employee facing screens need to be easier to use
PTO synchronized with Microsoft outlook to allow for easier use for managers and employees to see who on their teams is off.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is appropriate for companies that require robust reporting and access to data about their employees. We also use the data analytics on a daily basis.

I am currently using ADP Workforce Now for our payroll and HRIS. It has greatly streamlined our payroll process.
Pros
Payroll
Time and Attendance Management
Onboarding
Cons
Needs calendar sharing so everyone can see who is off which also helps plan meetings, training, etc.. This is the one thing that is missing for us. We had this function with our old provider.
Likelihood to Recommend
ADP Workforce Now is the best platform to use to process payroll. Everything is simplified and even better with recent improvements.
