Pros
Informative dashboard
Easy to create templates for repeating projects
Time management tools
Cons
Not always intuitive for setting cascading deadlines
Deliverable proofing tools focused on editing PDFs
Reporting output not always formatted "right" on the first try
Likelihood to Recommend
It's great for tracking projects that aren't technical/programming focused. There are better PM tools for software development that are more purpose built, but for large scale project management where cross-functional teams are all working together, Workfront is great. It's especially good for tracking creative projects, like an ad campaign or an email blast.
It is primary used for 2 purposes: project management: timeline tracking, project progress, financial impact and financial dashboards. Document uploads: approvals, reviewing, proofing. All of the above are a critical part to run several key functions withing the company, Adobe Workfront allows for streamlining of those subjects and makes the data available worldwide.
Pros
Document managemnt
Project management
Document accessibility
Cons
filters in project management are hard to understand, better UX would be welcome
dates and contingencies are often not working properly
can be hard to navigate multiple dashboards
Likelihood to Recommend
It's well suited for a large business that carries out many project per year and want's to keep track of them all. It's also relevant for companies that need to proof and review documents with people that might be across the globe. It's less suited for small companies that might be located in a single location.

Workfront enables us to manage all our projects effectively while providing a comprehensive overview of team resources. The Resource Planner helps the team identify their capacity to determine whether they are over- or under-allocated. This information is crucial for project planning and ensuring team members do not experience burnout.

Administrator in Information Technology (Marketing & Advertising company, 10,001+ employees)
Adobe Workfront is the strategic Project Management tool for Marketing at [...]. I work as a process owner with system admin access to help teams build and maintain their workflows in the tool. I help them to migrate from other tools the company uses to create a single source of truth in the tool as well.
Pros
Connecting with external tools using Fusion automation
Managing issues to projects process
Intake (Request) forms
Project management
Being a single source of capabilities for big teams to manage their work
Cons
The form builder is very limited. We need more options to format the fields, colors and font format to make the usability more user friendly.
The interface is not user friendly, people find really hard to understand how to use the tool.
The reports graphics and options are hard to be used by a user that is not deeply trained on how to build them, making it hard to give autonomy for the stakeholders on the tool.
Likelihood to Recommend
Adobe Workfront is really great for big teams with complex processes. It is a robust tool that offers everything that this kind of team needs to do the complete work.
Adobe Workfront is not to good if you have a simple process, it is not too intuitive and to onboard a team, you need a lot of training to make them able to work on the tool, which makes other tools like Monday.com for example, much more attractive.

Team Lead in Information Technology (Marketing & Advertising company, 201-500 employees)
We use Adobe Workfront to project manage marketing tasks, including content creation projects. As a content manager, I use Workfront to assign tasks to team members, assess workload, track project progress and timelines, manage due dates, communicate with stakeholders, and plan resources for upcoming projects. Workfront helps keep all team members informed and aligned to run projects smoothly and efficiently.
Pros
Workload balancing
Project management
Approval workflows
Reporting and dashboards
Cons
Proofing workflow not entirely seamless
Learning curve is steep for some users
Site doesn't present well on mobile
Likelihood to Recommend
Adobe Workfront is great for projects that are sequential, when tasks must be completed in a specific order by individually assigned team members. The dependencies and approval flows are extremely helpful for staying organized. It's not as great for tasks like brainstorming and strategy, when multiple people are involved. For example, for a "strategy" step in Workfront, we might have five people assigned because they're collaborating. But if five people are assigned, who is responsible for marking the step complete? Who is responsible for taking action? Is the time required meant to represent cumulative time or individual team member time? In either case, this gives an inaccurate representation of any one person's true workload.
