I use Adobe Workront for task management of clients. Being a project manager, I need all my tasks to be aligned according to priority and timelines. I use the tool daily as it is recommended by our client to manage the timelines through this tool. This tool helps me to keep all the tasks in one place and track them as it sends out the email when the due date approaches which helps me to meet the deadline
Pros
Project Management
Task management
Track of deadlines
Helps me to assign tasks
Track the progress
Cons
It can include an option of importing data using excel or csv or anything. Entering tasks one by one gets hectic
The Editing of tasks can be made easy.
It needs to allow us to add email address of the people to whom the tasks are assigned even if they are not using Workfront
Retrieving the deleted task should be made simple
Likelihood to Recommend
I would say that Adobe Workfront is not the best tool to use to manage your projects. You can use it for task management. It really gets on the nerves when you delete a task and then you have to retrieve it. Also, I would suggest that the tool gets a UI upgrade there would be better as there are a lot of improvements that can be incorporated into it.
I subcontract for a large corporation that utilizes Adobe Workfront for all of it's projects. Having never used it before, I was surprised at how easy I was able to jump into it (I have previous experience with Microsoft Office, which helped). The UI is clean and well-organized, and being able to keep everyone I report to up-to-date is vital, and easy to achieve with Adobe Workfront.
Pros
Project management
Keeping employees accountable for deadlines
Keeping the whole team in the loop with updates in real time
Cons
It's a very large program - which is a good thing for a large corporation with hundreds of ongoing projects, but can be daunting if you're not used to it
Although it's scalable, It could be a bit more user-friendly for small business owners
It's expensive - and rightfully so - but for a small biz to incorporate it's definitely an investment

I write music and sound design for multiple projects at the same time, all within the same company, sometimes as much as 8-10. It can be hard to keep track of and stay on top of notes and changes, but Adobe Workfront is great at keeping everything organized, and informing you of deadline changes as they occur.
Workfront is used almost in every department across our company. It allows us to manage and track time allocated along with the work to our staff.
Pros
Easy interface
Reports
Dashboard
Cons
Nothing as such
Likelihood to Recommend
This has been the best program we have managed so far, it has provided the best possible results so far. This platform is capable of ensuring that each of the users can be in constant communication and can maintain correct administration in each of their activities. We are using it across multiple departments within our company.
It was being used by project managers at my firm to manage project schedules and budgets, with a web based tool that allowed for multiple projects to be managed at one time, from one application and easy measuring of project health at the portfolio level.
Pros
Handles management of multiple projects in one location
Stores all project details in the cloud
Provides access from location with an internet connection
Cons
Configuration and project setup feel a little bit more complex than they could be and that I’ve experienced from other tools
There was a learning curve by Some members of our team which slowed the adoption
There is so much functionality that it can almost feel overwhelming
Likelihood to Recommend
Workfront is great for managing multiple projects of a complex nature. It manages resources well. Things like project budget and schedule and workforce and materials can be handled simply. Gantt views are easy to run and reporting out of the box has some useful features that made me shine with minimal effort. That being said the user interface can feel less than intuitive. With so much functionality in one tool, it is a blessing and a curse.

Project Manager in Professional Services (Management Consulting company, 1-10 employees)
Workfront is being used by our organization to maintain productivity from the perspective of our project managers and our customer service/account people. It keeps our projects on track and ensures that everyone has the ability to view the status of various projects at any given moment. It solves for the miscommunication problem we had prior to implementing Workfront.
Pros
Design: We have a lot of visual learners, and the various colors that we can use to show steps/processes surprisingly made a difference in understanding the stage.
Accountability: Assigns tasks to individuals so that they are kept accountable for their part of a project.
Project Management Ease: Our project managers can make changes on the fly. No more painstaking hours to update a project.
Cons
The learning curve is high. It's not the easiest program to use.
Price :Things are good, but you are paying for all the extras whether you use them or not.
Company: Sometimes it's difficult to work with the Workfront representatives because it feels like they are all sales all the time when they should be listening and helping.
Likelihood to Recommend
Workfront is more suited for larger organizations. Smaller organizations may get more bang for their buck using programs that are either free or have a lower price per user. Workfront is more "big league," used for mass communication of projects across a major company. The notifications are good but can become overwhelming at times, regardless of what size company this program is implemented within.

We love the agile capabilities in Workfront. The tool does a great job of combining agile and traditional task management into a single tool.
Workfront Request Queues provide an easy way to manage and route requests ensuring that the right people see and act on requests.
Workfront reporting allows to automate project status reporting without having to write a separate status report. We enter project updates directly into Workfront and then use scheduled reports to deliver information to stakeholders.
Cons
We would like an option to create a Kanban style storyboard.
Likelihood to Recommend
We use Workfront for a wide variety of project types. Everything from creative projects in marketing to application development. Workfront provides a broad set of functionality for project and task management, but each project and project manager can use as much of that functionality as they wish.
The person who bought Workfront was really attracted by the Look & Feel in the demo.
Cons
The last time I checked, we were still using a time-consuming manual workaround for a bug with email routing with no scheduled fix.
I spend a lot of time scrolling past stuff I don't use, and things don't always work the way I think they do. I am sure that is something that could be resolved by training and configuration, or at least mitigated, but the cost of a dedicated Workfront administrator would be considerable.
Likelihood to Recommend
I suspect Workfront would be a better fit for an ad agency, but I don't think it follows that it would be the best solution in that space.

Workfront contains al the necessary details and documents in one location for easy reference.
Workfront allows anyone within the company to review a project and know exactly what has happened through the work on the project and also the current status so anyone can pick up the project and work on it if need be.
The organization of types of billing is a great tool to be sure we charge appropriate rates for our time. Example: Wed hours are more expensive than studio/design work, so we are able to manage billing quicker and easier.
Cons
It would be nice if Workfront allowed a 'middle' category between a project and a task, so we can have subtitles to projects.
It would be great if Workfront could link to Outlook - our project orders come in through email, our project revisions come in through email, so we are always duplicating time in cutting and pasting each and every order or revision into Workfront system and then taking the update out of Workfront and pasting it in to an email, it would be great if that process could be streamlined.
Managing the end date for the project is difficult, the project status can't be in "complete-pending approval" if we want to push the finish date out further, so we have to adjust the status for the project, change the date and put the status of the project back to it's original status - sometimes we forget to do that after changing the date and the project goes into a place where the proper staff doesn't see it to manage it.
The rejection process is clunky. If the task is updated and then requires a rejection, it should carry forward the details from the update rather than requiring us to cut and paste the same information 2 times into both the update and the rejection.
Likelihood to Recommend
Workfront is well-suited for our ad agency business because projects can be outlined and managed appropriately through the necessary process. I could see Workfront working well for any business that utilizes a project management system and needs to stay organized. A developer in construction projects, or an interior designer could make use of this system nicely. Or a property management company could use the system to keep track of tenants and work orders, or a condo association for each unit's work issues or repair requests.
Workfont has excellent reporting abilities we highly depend upon.
Workfront has a very organized layout easy migrate through
Workfront is perfect for overall workload management and task assignments.
Cons
Workfront limits the ability to change the field structure making each form become longer and longer with unnecessary information
Workfront does not offer the ability to hide fields that are deemed unnecessary for my organization
Workfront can become too complex and overbearing on workload management by entering in hours per task and so on. Instead offer hours involved per project overall.
Likelihood to Recommend
Workfront is great for large companies who require assistance tracking employee workloads and overall projects in the pipeline. Because it has so many field options, it can become too complex for simple organizations. Instead there should be a small company feature, or the ability to hide fields/change names of fields that are pre-provided.
Reporting - Workfront offers a seemingly limitless number of both pre-loaded and custom reports that allow the user to get exactly what they need when they need.
Workflow Management - Workfront's use of predecessor, task duration, and resource management makes it easy to plan a project and execute in an organized manner.
Resources - Workfront offers training in multiple different formats that are accessible to all users. They also host a community page that connects other users to share best practices.
Cons
Workfront has so many different functionalities/nuances that make it difficult to connect the dots. It would be nice if our Workfront instance only showed what we need. Example - we don't track time via Workfront so there is no need for that option to be available.
Proof HQ and Workfront - These are not fully integrated and the automated workflows are difficult to understand. In addition, this feature is really well suited for small documents not large documents/slide decks.
Implementation - The implementation team provided by workfront is very knowledgeable of the system but does not take on a lead role in getting the system set up as you might think. It really comes down to your appointed system admin and core team to learn the system thoroughly to get it set up.
Likelihood to Recommend
Workfront is great for managing multiple accounts, projects, programs etc. For companies struggling to manage resources, track projects, drive deadlines, etc., Workfront could be a great solution for you. The ProofHQ integration is perfect for thing such as handouts, ads, fliers, etc., but not so much for large documents. If you are a looking to use the proof HQ integration for large documents with a lot of content this may not work for you. The system administrator position is in many ways a full-time job. The system admin is really a champion of the system that is expected to attend multiple trainings, learn all the ins and outs, set the whole system up, develop the system over time, track enhancements, etc. In essence, this isn't something that you set up during implementation and then walk away from. It requires constant attention and management. If you do not have someone to dedicate to this your organization may struggle.
