Adobe Workfront is like a workboard for our organisation in which each and every employee of can check the overall progress of all the recent projects on whiich we are working. It also helps us in understanding that who is doing what in our organisation and what is the current progress of those particular projects. This is a essential business tool that helps us in completing assigned works on time.

  • Helps in creating customized workflow that can suit best for our business
  • It easily manages all the deadline of different projects assigned to different people working in our company
  • Getting brief reports of all the work becomes easy through Adobe Workfront

Cons

  • The pricing of Adobe Workfront is on the costlier side which is not that great for small companies
  • The user interface of this tool is very complex it will take a proper training to learn about its different features
  • Whenever we assign lot of projects to this software it starts lagging and their server becomes slow

As we are a service based startup that's why managing different types of workflow has always been one of the integral part of our business and to check who is doing what and the projects are being done on time or not we use this tool all these small things are checked only with the help of Adobe Workfront. As I already said that it is little expensive and may be laggy if we exert too much work pressure on there servers in long run.

we use Adobe Workfront to record interactions held with industry analysts and Analyst written reports. the purpose of doing this is to track Analyst written reports from creation until publication to see our ROI. interactions help give context to what was discussed during engagements & are usually connected to reports which help drive it to publication. in our department, we connect with analysts & form relationships so they can help get our AWS Amazon products out to new customers and strengthen the relationship w/ current customers

Pros

  • fusion - we love to customize for our specific use cases. fusion is the backend to workfront & are connected.
  • projects - love the tasks, document, assignments & updates sections
  • requests - love that we can submit requests & manage out of a queue.

Cons

  • automated emails - (ex: project is overdue) we can enhance via fusion, but would be nice to be able to do w/o leveraging fusion - makes it simpler for admins
  • way to document how everything connects together (fields on custom forms - to the request forms using those fields - to queue requests live in - to reports & dashboards measuring those reports) I have to remember everything but we have a lot in our department so it would be nice to see better tracking
  • outlook integration - workfront x outlook integration BROKE in August 2024 & it hasn't been fixed!!!

Workfront is a tool that is utilized in our organization for one of the service lines that provides implementation services for clients. Workfront is used as a project management tool for these teams and helps to organize and standardize project methodology across the team. Workfront is also used in order to help track and maintain employee project forecasting and actual time vs. forecasted time to projects.

  • Documentation Repository (For individual projects).
  • Dashboards for tracking Actual vs. Forecasted time entry to a project.

Cons

  • Customization of Dashboards.
  • It often takes a lot of clicks to get to a location in the application.

I believe that Workfront is an amazing tool for management consulting firms as it centralizes and helps to organize many projects that may be happening across their firm. This would also be a great tool for SaaS companies to use to help organize the status of their ongoing implementations.

[Adobe] Workfront application has been used by our Business Development functional area to streamline their new opportunities that the current employees have to audit, follow up on, and then file according to the priority. Each case is treated as a mini project in itself and so requires task management, task assignment, status updates as well as [the] attachment of documentation to be reviewed by senior management.

A lot of the projects or business development projects/accounts that we process are mini-projects in itself, however, there are a few similarities in some projects related to the improvements required or the type of technology needed. So the idea of creating templates was something that we missed in other applications. Workfront is great for managing tasks according to the category of templates we have used in the past. It keeps our employees' life easy and super easy to onboard new team members where we can show them the previous projects.

[Adobe] Workfront is a great project management software for teams larger than 10. It does a great job of allowing you to include the appropriate people and not ping just everyone. [Adobe] Workfront is *not* a media agency tool. If you need to track campaign performance, purchasing, planning, or proposals, this is not the right tool for that.
