Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Some design projects are part of my job as a content specialist. Most of them fast paced needing visuals quick, for example a social media post, a quick flyer or an online brand page.

Pros

Giving options, there’s a lot you can do with PhotoShop
Having an extensive online resource if you need help finding certain features and how to use them.
Being an industry standard, meaning you can exchange information and files easily with different brands/companies.

Cons

Convoluted interface, it could be sorted a bit more
Very big work files, photoshop only works properly on a very strong laptop or PC
Takes up a lot of RAM

less suited for our workflow when visuals are quickly needed, and if you’re working with a laptop and not a pc. i’d prefer to work with something with an easier interface like Figma or Canva very suitable for detailed visuals when you’re working for an agency and have more time + electronic resources on hand. PhotoShop has more possibilities for picture editing than Canva & Figma

I am using Adobe PhotoShop since 2018. its an amazing platform for photo edititing and manipulation of picture. its a very helpful tool in my business. i just started my digital marketing agency few months ago and its help me alot like i dont know ho to make ads but i try to make ads on Adobe PhotoShop from scratch and know i have good knowledge about Adobe PhotoShop

Adobe PhotoShop is amazing for detailed photo editing, like fixing colors, removing unwanted objects, and retouching portraits. It’s also great for creating graphics like posters and social media designs, and it’s perfect for digital art with its powerful brushes. I love using it for blending images to create unique visuals. However, it’s not the best for logos or UI/UX work—Illustrator or Figma are better for that. For quick edits or simple tasks, tools like Canva are easier to use. It’s powerful, but not always the most efficient for beginners or basic tasks.

Previously in our orgranization, the documentation designing was being done on obsolete softwares.

Since I've been given the opportunity to lead our organization's Digital content department, I use Adobe PhotoShop on a daily basis for all of our documentation design layouts. This tool has significantly improved the look and feel of our documentation and reduced the ETA for my deliverables and the ease of access it now offers with its cloud based solutions for hosting projects and sharing it with the team.

Additionally, the New AI integration of Adobe Firefly in Adobe PhotoShop is a complete game changer.

Cons

The newly introduced AI tool (Firefly) needs to be further improved as it deviates from the prompts with brief description.
Adobe needs to step up their game with the scratch disk, as it becomes annoying at times when you everything you have on your disk is valuable and you are unable to use Adobe PhotoShop because of the scratch disk is full.
The project tabs could be enhanced to identify the tab in use with a color, to avoid user errors.

Likelihood to Recommend

Regardless, of the small challenges it comes with, I would definitely recommend Adobe PhotoShop to anyone who is looking for a complete solution for creative designs, digital media designs, photo editing, etc. However, the person who I would recommend to should have some sort of experience with highly skilled editing softwares as in my opinion Adobe PhotoShop is not for Beginners.

Adobe PhotoShop is helping us to get our photo ready in just a minute, its User interface is very much user friendly and new user also can edit photos with it very smoothly,To edit my professional photo for using it in any institution adobe photoshop helps to do in In few clicks.If we want to edit our photos for social media uploads adobe PS software help in that too, it add some professional touch in any picture so get a good presence in social media.The most important part is that the customer support team is also very active we get our issue ressolved in very limited time.

Photoshop is used for image editing and incorporating illustrations for learning solutions. Many of the editing tasks require image 'clean-up' such as removing objects and people, color correction, and brightness. Once the image has been touched up, then there is often the inclusion of illustrative features to make the images more compelling or a manner of including text.

Pros

Object or person removal.
Image touch up.
Easy to learn.

Cons

Finding options in the different window elements.
Explaining why options/filters are not available such as requiring a flattened layer.
Easier iteration when removing an object. If the removal isn't great, the next iteration doesn't always recognize what was required to remove.

Likelihood to Recommend

This program is perfect for any image-manipulating scenario as long as the individual understands some basic image editing concepts such as drop shadow or gradient. The Photoshop program makes it easy to identify the correct size for an image for different applications from print, web, or social media platforms. This streamlines the creative process.

Pros

With Adobe Photoshop we manage to create very high quality images. and the options in this application are diverse and varied
It also allows us to edit already designed images in order to improve their quality. We also produce professional cards for our employees

Cons

I think that the cost of the product must be revised downwards even if it is true that the application is excellent we were not able to obtain a license for several users in our department

Adobe photoshop is certainly the best bitmap image manipulation software compared to non. As a professional graphic designer, there is no single day that i don't open this wonderful software to design, manipulate images or edit old documents. The software has a wide range of tools from which you choose to do what you want. The tools i love so much when editing are: content aware, clone stamp, magic eraser, patch, healing brush and many more. With the help of these magical software, I'm able to restore old photos, documents for my clients. I edit documents, do new professional designs, improve the quality of pixilated images. Photoshop allows new designs and other edited document to be exported in any desired formats of your choice because it has more to choose from. I won't get the time to write every experience about this amazing undoubtedly the best bitmap photo and designing software of our time. Even though there are so many bitmap softwares emerging, they lack sensitive tools and exporting formats. Photoshop is just unmatchable in its field and on top of other softwares with their frequent updates and yearly upgrades. It will remain a SENIOR to all designing and image manipulation softwares.

They have to work on their image enhancement tools. Some AI image enhancement softwares beat photoshop in these area. Most restore lost pixels better than photoshop.
Another thing i love less about photoshop is the cost. They should do something about that.
You have to learn photoshop from scratch to master it. Its not a software for lazy people because of that, only dedicated learning stay to learn. Most run to emerging softwares that have more design Templates to choose from. They should also try to to add some design template to even save time for professionals who design everything from scratch.

My overall experience with photoshop is amazing. Photoshop is now part of me even though i explore other emerging softwares to see what they have better than photoshop. Truely some have wonderful tools but which can not overshadow photoshop. As professional designer who alway want the best for my clients, do few things in other softwares and continue in photoshop even though photoshop can equally do them but not the best way for me. This doesn't apply to other professional. Generally i will choose photoshop any day over photoshop.

I've been using PhotoShop for quite some time now but I love the new update - generative AI makes my work a lot more easier and it allows me to do better work as well. Generative fill helps my creativity, all this while I visualise things in my head and then decide if there's something worth to put into execution. Now? I can easily translate all my concepts to tangible rough mocks in a matter of seconds. Yes, it may not be as easy to use as compared to Canva but there is a reason why PhotoShop has been at the helm of design for decades now. UI is intimidating at first, definitely not the most intuitive tool but as you use the software more, things get a lot more easier.

UI - I do think that something could be simplified
Cost - while creative cloud is priced economically, for people who just want one software - I think it could be priced better.

Likelihood to Recommend

PhotoShop is best suited for photo editing, generative AI image creation and I guess it would be less appropriate for things like vector graphics creation, presentations, logo design, video editing, vector animation (like after effects)

i will use it in making mockups, logo presentation, logo manual, emailers and editing photos, social media posts and love to work on it. Adobe PhotoShop is very easy for me to remove objects and adding something else in pic...and it looks real, pen tool i mostly use for cutting ..but in new update i will manage it by selection making and it automatically copy the objects i want ...i din't feel any problem when using it. Scope depends on what is the level of person in editing...overall it is full package and will always in demand..

It also includes an auto-level feature that is perfectly designed. If you are looking to purchase any editing software, only purchase Adobe Photoshop. If you are buying it, it is value for money; your money will not waste. It is one of the most professional editing tools in editing software. Adobe Photoshop is available on even all platforms. It supports almost all image formats, including PDF. An excellent benefit is that it can edit videos and GIF
