We use Adobe Firefly across all stages of design thinking to enhance our work: whether in concept ideation, such as generating storyboards; prototyping ideas by creating images for our designs; or communicating our proposals through presentations.

Pros

Adobe Firefly produces images of significantly higher quality compared to other free generative AIs.
The text-to-image tool allows us to quickly bring ideas to life, enabling real-time adjustments with participants during workshops.
With the Generative Fill tool in Adobe Photoshop, you can choose specific sections of an image to adjust or enhance by adding new elements through text prompts.

Cons

Add a negative prompt option, allowing us to specify unwanted elements to exclude from the image generation.
I’d like to sync the generated images directly with the Adobe Creative Cloud app, though I’m unsure if this is possible or how to set it up.
I’d like to set up a dedicated, easily accessible space for my team, where we could share and organize images in a collaborative library.

Likelihood to Recommend

Adobe Firefly – especially its text-to-image tool, where I have the most experience – demonstrates impressive accuracy, consistently delivering high-quality results for prompts. This reliability enables us to use it seamlessly in co-creation sessions. Honestly, I can’t think of a scenario where I wouldn’t recommend Adobe Firefly over other generative AIs, particularly because of its seamless integration with Adobe software.

I use Adobe Firefly almost everyday due to its ethical structure for AI and its abundant applications for every day use. Whether its using generative fill artificially extend backgrounds, or to remove objects or equipment from photos, the firefly AI models is very good for any editor. You can use Firefly to generate completely new backgrounds, or to reference your own images, it does a great job filling in the gaps that almost every photographer has.

Recently I have used the Adobe Firefly in my photo editing to touch up areas that the clone tool doesn't work for. Its also great for object removal instead of meticulously having to draw or paint over it. It saves me time as well as keeps the integrity of my work!

Another such example would be when there is a wardrobe malfunction, and fix a wine stain, adjust hair issues, remove a awkward pocketflap...etc

We use Adobe Firefly to create AI images and backplates for the standards and product photography images we make at our company. It is really helpful and fast to edit and create images using fireflies. Since the images used are licensed by adobe, that becomes a big advantage. We also use it to create tileable textures. It saved us a lot of time and money in terms of business as creating or buying images everytime take ample amount of time.

Pros

It helps generating AI images as per our requirement, we can also edit them and integrate it with photoshop.
It also helps creating seamless tileable patterns, which saves us time while texturing.

Cons

Although the results are pretty good but it can improve on the output, sometimes the result is not as expected and takes time to tweak but you can edit them easily with photoshop.
It feels a little expensive but comparatively to buying a separste stock image service it is better.

Likelihood to Recommend

As per my experience, adobe Adobe Firefly is best to create AI art, AI backplates for our shots. We can also use it to create multiple textures seamless and others. If you dont know photoshop, firefly will not be best thing to use as you may have to edit results created with firefly. In general it really helps saving time and cost for the organization.

I think it is not very applicable for creating photography with human subjects because of how unrealistic the people look, and they often have random errors like missing fingers or an extra eye. The people often look very obviously generated by AI, so I would not want to post it on an ad that's meant to go towards consumers. I think it is good for removing backgrounds, expanding backgrounds or using generative fill. It is a good add on to Photoshop and other Adobe applications where you want to perform an action quickly rather than doing it manually.

I am a web developer and I like to keep the images professional unique and original on the website. Adobe Firefly gave me a good opportunity to generate my own images according to my own needs that made my job easier, because finding the good and relevant images is a time taking process in itself.

Its perfect when you want your imagery resources to be copyright-free, unique, and relevant. You can save time by generating your relevant image rather than searching all over the internet trying to find the exact match with your content. But 1 drawback is that it lacks your imagination you either have to be too specific or you have to regenerate various revisions in order to find a suitable one, but once you are trained / Familiarized it seems like child's play.

I used it at my last company and it was a good way to get a different image as aposed to having stock images. We also used it for touch up or changes to images without having skills to do it ourselves. We were not primarily a marketing business so it helped us save money from either contracting someone or hiring a staff member.

As a multimedia producer Adobe Firefly is a blessing. It has many uses especially in the design process for sparking ideas and possible looks and concepts. In the post production process the integration with Premiere Pro helps fix some of those minor but time consuming problems such as length. If you are in production give a try it is worth it.

you can write text prompts and it will give you 4 concepts of that design.
all design are digital painting based so its best for concept making.
Adobe Firefly is fast so it helps to speed up our text to design process.

they should make different concepts in each prompt unlike similar theme concepts designs.
sometime you will not get what you want that is a major drawback of ai.
