I work as part of small marketing team. We have a full-time designer, but there are times when she gets bogged down with projects and I sometimes do some small-scale design projects myself. Adobe Express is handy for these types of projects and has helped me get more done while our designer is otherwise unavailable.

Pros

Event invitations - there are lots of different templates to choose from that fit a wide variety of styles to get you going quickly.
Social media graphics - lots of stock images and styles for inspiration
Social media ads - I love that they come pre-sized based on the type of ad you want to create.

Cons

I think this is true of all generative AI, but some of it can be hit-or-miss
You can make stuff for social quickly, but if you are wanting to do more detailed designs or edits, you're better off working in Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.
The UX is a little different than other Adobe products and can take some getting used to.

Express is a great product for anyone that is more of a design novice than a seasoned designer. The tools can help you do lots of complex things that used to take lots of work very quickly. For example the 'Remove Object' and 'Remove background' tools work very well amazingly fast. You don't need to painstakingly trace around objects or worry about accidentally including something you didn't want.

I mostly use Adobe Express for creating quick social media posts. I like that with my creative cloud membership I have access to lots of stock images and templates. I also love the quick collage maker and the convert video to gif capability and photo background remover. I've also made some simple videos and flyers using Adobe Express.

It's great for creating quick graphics, on mobile or desktop. I love the mobile functions for making collages or converting videos to gifs. I avoid creating ai images because humans always look wonky and text doesn't turn out right. Photoshop is better for more intricate image editing. Video editing is basic in Adobe Express.

I use AE to design assets to include in marketing emails and for on-the-go edits for landing page assets. The business problem is having engaging graphics in outgoing messages to prospects to help them become more familiar with our brand. This is a fantastic tool for educators, from k-12 to even higher-ed, to create more engaging content within their classroom presentations but also for promotion of their sessions or engaging their students. For Marketing professionals, this is a dynamic tool that can cut down on some of the creative time to output needed to build or expand on existing branding. Love that we can upload our branded elements and then use them to adapt various assets on the fly. For example, we are hosting a conference and we conduct various interviews on-site. I or any of our team members can easily slap on some lower thirds and conference logo on Express and post faster on the fly.
