Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for many different industries and has been a very good system for our particular manufacturing operation
I use Acumatica to document and maintain orders. I also use it to keep track of repairs and cases from field issues. We break down the data to better understand where we can make improvements.
Pros
Love the filters.
Easily able to maintain orders
I love how easily I can edit and create GIs
Cons
I like what is coming and look forward to AI integrations in the future. Most issues I have are from needing to learn more about how I use the system
Likelihood to Recommend
I honestly can't think of a way where it is less appropriate because I use it for everything.
We are a new implementation, looking to improve project management, reporting, and accounting. Allow managers to see the current status of projects, and assign accountability for tasks.
Pros

Acumatica is well suited for a business that is growing and needs to scale its ERP to grow with the company. Single source of the truth while expanding demand for more reporting, KPI's, automation, alerts, and progress reports.
Acumatica is our ERP, we use it to bill our customers, pay our vendors, reconcile our banks and monitor the flow of data from our Connects Application. We use it to integrate with Big commerce, TrailD, EbizCharge and Avalara to enable our business to be efficient.
Our next implementation is customer portal to enable our customers to access their invoices and data alone.
Pros
Invoice our customer and issue Dunning letters
Integrate with other systems
Evolve with us
Cons
Use of AI to project future cost based on historical data
Reports within Acumatica
Likelihood to Recommend
Acumatica Works well for smaller entities, high unit volume counts may cause a problem
We implemented and use Acumatica to get a better view of our data. Historically, we have been out of touch with the lifeblood of our company and Acumatica has enabled us to grow through data analysis
Pros
E-commerce integration
Open API customizations
User friendly GI creation
Cons
Purchase Ordering
Built in GIs need work
Case response time and resolution
Likelihood to Recommend
Acumatica is very good for data analytics but struggles more with order flow when errors appear or user make mistakes that need to be corrected
Quote to cash management plus warehouse Inventory, Assembly process & Case management.
Pros
Better than Quickbooks.
Customization, being able to make custom screens, connect tools together.
Can setup automation rules. There is a lot that needs to change for that to be easier but the fact we can is huge.
Cons
Large bi yearly upgrades. Compared to competitors in the space, the upgrade processes, the biggest Achilles' heel the system has.
Improved: Ability to see what field relates to the UI. (example dealing with approval mapping and trying to figure out where the decision wait time is stored is really difficult since there are fields for wait time, and pending wait time in the same area.)
Another improvement would be more clarity around why a field was updated/changed. Example is inventory there are a few processes that put it on booked and others change it to another status but it's hard to tell why or what is causing it.
Likelihood to Recommend
If they were looking for a little more sophistication out of the box from QuickBooks and we're not gonna do a lot of customizations at all that I think your system is fine if you're gonna customize it to operate in your unique environment, I think your system due to the upgrade process is highly complex to maintain long-term.
We use Acumatica as a Contract Management tool and for billing purposes.
Pros
User friendly
Manages contract documents
Ability to upload documents by "dragging"
Cons
ability to go back to the created record after a long period in between
Not having to continue to click the save button hoping you don't lose information already provided in a record
ability to remove a file from a record
Likelihood to Recommend
Acumatica is a well thought out tool that is very user friendly and does the job to keep contractual information readily available. What would make the tool even better is to allow for a file that was uploaded to be removed at least until the record is placed off of hold. Once the record is saved then perhaps not being allowed to remove a document will be suitable.
