  • The built-in template designs are a bit lackluster. While there are numerous, they all have the same blase style and formatting
  • The built-in template designs are not very diverse and could be expanded upon.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

One of the things I find most amazing about ActiveDocs are cloud services. The way we create documents is also fascinating. I tend to use the job offer document a lot and it is very easy to customize with my options and hire with a click of a button. Whether you own a business or not, you must have this software with you or at your company for various reasons and uses. The UI was pleasant to use and didn't require extensive searches for key items.

  • Creating wizards and document templates requires a knowledge of Microsoft Word.

  • Easy to use for basic users, extremely configurable for advanced users.
  • Deep Microsoft Word integration ensuring consistent document output.

Cons

  • Designing document wizards and templates require an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Word.
  • Would like to see expansion into PowerPoint. That would provide our sales team with the ability to generate a supporting presentation/slide deck alongside the paperwork required to close the deal.
