Use Cases and Deployment Scope

One of the things I find most amazing about ActiveDocs are cloud services. The way we create documents is also fascinating. I tend to use the job offer document a lot and it is very easy to customize with my options and hire with a click of a button. Whether you own a business or not, you must have this software with you or at your company for various reasons and uses. The UI was pleasant to use and didn't require extensive searches for key items.

the available templates help and facilitate the day-to-day work

Cons

I can't edit an image
Creating wizards and document templates requires a knowledge of Microsoft Word.

Likelihood to Recommend

I often use ActiveDocs for team building materials. During the day to day rush, we really like to use the models provided, we can be agile with that ease. And the team can share different documents. We no longer have to spend hours in front of the computer typing up a document that can easily be created in minutes.

Template could be better by adding features that make it easier for users.
Some features are missing like image editing, and SEO management.

ActiveDocs is being used primarily by the sales team to streamline the generation of customer proposals. It is also used by the IT services and business solutions teams to deliver statements of work and project summaries. The ability to build rigid document wizards that use conditional logic is the primary benefit of using ActiveDocs to streamline and control document automation within our organisation.

Pros

Easy to use for basic users, extremely configurable for advanced users.
Deep Microsoft Word integration ensuring consistent document output.

Cons

Designing document wizards and templates require an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Word.
Would like to see expansion into PowerPoint. That would provide our sales team with the ability to generate a supporting presentation/slide deck alongside the paperwork required to close the deal.

Likelihood to Recommend

Excellent for building documents that need to reference a library of pre-determined content when being generated.

Excellent for highly complex documents that require easy to use conditional logic (such as statement of works, commercial proposals, insurance documentation).

ActiveDocs is used for document generation and can quickly pump out a professional document based on a template with all relevant information regarding a client or customer. The software includes base templates that can be used to create customized templates. There are a large array of templates available and creating one from scratch is very easy.

Pros

The user-friendly interface guides you through the template creation process.
Highly customizable including rules for following client/customer information.
Fast and easy to use - anyone can create documents once templates are in place.

Cons

The built-in template designs are a bit lackluster. While there are numerous, they all have the same blase style and formatting
The built-in template designs are not very diverse and could be expanded upon.

Likelihood to Recommend

There are not a lot of competitors to compare this product with, but ActiveDocs holds its own as a very useful software for the need. I recommend doing a demo to see how the process works, but it's rather streamlined and easy to create a template and produce a document from it.
