We don't use it for generic employee learning and development.

You can fine tune access to content or enrollment, for instance, a Department for External / Partners, with a group for a specific type of partner, with rules about regional location and job title.

Absorb LMS is allowing us to add a new line of business that allows us to provide a broader blended learning offering to our clients. Not only will it assist with digital learning and content authoring for our existing programs to large clients, but allows us to work more directly in smaller organisations without full L&D capability in-house.
Pros
White labelling for external training
Global support
Ease of content authoring
Helpful team from sales to implementation
Cons
Content authoring could do with some more functionality
Gamification is a separate package and an additional purchase. It should be standard
Likelihood to Recommend
Absorb LMS has excellent ability to implement department structures on many levels, allowing it to be customised for internal and external training offerings both B2C and B2B. It’s highly customisable to the extent that the amount of settings during implementation can be somewhat overwhelming. The team provides great assistance with this.
We needed a platform for our employees, contractors and external users to consume training (both created by us, purchased and uploaded, linked to LinkedIn Learning). We needed the ability to define who could access what training, ability to assign courses broadly or narrowly, auto assign content and be able to report on usage. We needed a platform that would allow us to time or "date" stamp training to ensure our training is up to date. We vetted 6 systems in our "short list" and Absorb LMS was hands down the favorite for ability to create, contain, assign and report!
Pros
User friendly for all levels (Learner, manager, administrator and creator)
Creation of content- amazing functionality and customization
Customization of courses in levels, assignments, department, title, dates available
Customer Support- this is their super power!
Cons
Reporting could be better- ability to automate report to update on dashboard, ability to ask "give me top 3 courses" rather than have to define each course
Ability for managers to view indirect reports and assign them courses- it looks as if the functionality is there but it's not.
Initial training- it's really more of overview; lead users to Absorb Academy- much more useful.

It's our platform for 10 country almost 700 people in multiple time zones. The platform allows managers to assign and check progress of team. We can create content tailored to a product we sell or a team's deliverables. We can leverage APIs to our HRIS system or LinkedIn Learning making more automatic interface. We can create content in the system or upload into the system.
Absorb LMS streamlines training for our company, a niche business in a unique market with specialized training needs. By offering a centralized platform, it ensures consistent, skill-specific training for both customers and internal staff, enhancing knowledge retention and productivity. This ultimately boosts our service quality and client satisfaction.
Pros
Admin portal is easy to navigate
Learners Portal is easy to use
Course Portals are easy for our learners and look great
Client Success Support is superior
Cons
Batch updates to courses would be idea. Something you can use outside of the course window.

We have clients that reach around the world. Our modules allow them to receive the training they need to succeed. Our internal learners are in office and remote, so the flexibility of an online learning platform has been a huge success and driver in our training program. Sometimes it's easier to instruct a group of learners in person so you can get the personal touch that an LMS or a recorded video doesn't offer.
Absorb LMS has completely transformed our business. I can honestly say that this has revolutionized the way we interact with clients in over 90 countries around the world. There are many providers out there, but Absorb LMS provides the customization that we need to do what we need to do to get real results for our clients. I highly recommend Absorb LMS!
Pros
Customization
User-Friendly
Modern Look
Cons
Ability to upload mp3 files
Multiple facilitators for one course
Ability to take notes on the platform

Any organization that needs to train and develop employees or clients should check out Absorb LMS. It is very helpful to produce measurable, long-term results. They provide customization to fit any need for you and your team whether it be selling development courses or for internal training in your organization.
We use Absorb for our corporate learning platform, ELI. We also utilize Go1 integrated with Absorb. We mainly use our LMS for compliance, professional development, and reporting.
Pros
Customer support
Ease of use
Integration with other platforms
Cons
Reporting - Analyze appears to still be in Beta mode
Customization (learner and admin side)
Re-enrollment capabilities
Messaging/mass messaging
Enrollment rules for every function, not just courses (i.e. Manager dashboard)
Likelihood to Recommend
Absorb meets all of our basic needs. Where it falls short is the above and beyond. It would be great to be able to customize the experience for learners more and integrate learning into the workflow, such as within Teams. Hard to increase engagement with the platform when customization abilities for the learner side are fairly basic. Reporting capabilities have a way to go towards improvement. However, the support team is quick and knowledgeable.
You can create courses with animation, quizzes, stories, and other learning experiences using set or customizable lesson plans. By coordinating internal and external resources, setting up training programs or learning pathways at regular intervals, and managing our capacity, we are able to achieve our goals.
On websites, email, intranets, and the Koantic LMS Cloud interface, we may save, distribute, and incorporate electronic learning information.
Pros
The workers may immediately identify the type of training they must complete and the deadline for doing so.
All training events that take place within the company can be registered.
Cons
More reports updates would be nice.
The ability to translate across languages would be helpful.
The support team is still not performing at its best, they could do better.

For completion confirmation and possible certification purposes, we can request electronic signatures.
We use Absorb across our entire organization across dozens of office locations throughout the United States. We deliver all of our organization-created courses as well as off the shelf courses to all of our employees, including new hire orientation as well as individual training modules. This has helped us tremendously in cutting costs from traveling to locations to do training as well as creating a standard form of training across all locations.
Pros
Standardized training for all employees.
Easy delivery of new hire orientation courses.
Cons
Automated creation of manager groups.
Easier way of seeing who employees report to so we can create manager groups.
Likelihood to Recommend
Absorb is very well suited for any company looking to standardize training for all employees. It is also best suited when paired with a course vendor to pick specific courses aimed towards employees and their interests. This makes orientation very simple. We used to have a 2-hour orientation conference to cover everything these courses can cover.
A blended solution for both internal and external users. Internal users access compliance training and product-specific training. External users access product training for implementations, onboarding, and product enhancements.
Pros
Reliability
Ease of Use.
Flexibility
Cons
Admin dashboards and reports. (Though it is on the product roadmap).
Manager reporting (called Manager Experience).
Calendar view of upcoming classes (Though it is on the product roadmap).
Likelihood to Recommend
Reliability of the platform, rarely see a full outage. Flexibility of the platform, both internal and external users. Ability to use multiple user management solutions for external users.
