We are a restaurant that struggled with communication during training. It became a game of telephone where one training would vary in steps to service being communicated. Using Absorb LMS has eliminated that game and cleared our lines of communication. Now, every team member receives the same information and clear steps are set in place. Using videos and other resources clearly shows them our expectations. Users are able to move at their own pace and master one skill before moving to the next. Our LMS makes learning easy and fun for the learner where they're learning information that will help our company increase our retention goals and boost our overall sales figures by creating a memorable experience for each and every guest that walks thru our doors.
Pros

My experience with Absorb LMS has been very positive. From the beginning, the system was very easy to configure and set up. The options for internally created trainings have been robust, especially as it pertains to "quizzes" to test users. Additionally, importing existing SCORM trainings or internally recorded trainings has been relatively easy.

We need to train both internal learners as well as a large contingent of dealer, distributor, and customer learners. We create and purchase training for our products and system, technical basics, and personal/professional development courses. Our learners are mainly service technicians and parts professionals that interact with our products. There are also customer learners that perform maintenance, basic repairs, and operate our products.
Pros
Support has always been good, but has gotten even better in the last 4 years.
Customization is robust - any kind of training program or modality you want to put in AbsorbLMS will function as you want it to.
Listening to customers - they have Idea Boards where I can add something they should consider for future features. I can vote up others' ideas, and many of their software updates have come from these ideas.
Integrations - Absorb LMS can have integrations with multiple different platforms in order to make the LMS and its data more powerful.
Cons
Absorb Analyze dashboards are not fully user friendly. It has been a learning curve to do the simple dashboards I'd like to use to illustrate the data.

We have a role-based certification program, which works well within the Absorb system. I set up automatic enrollment in the next level when the previous one is completed. I've added digital badge images when levels are achieved. There are reports I've had sent to me automatically to complete the achievement-recognition process.
We use Absorb LMS to create learning material for our staff, and to track the progress of them taking the courses we have created. We also use the Analyze portion of Absorb LMS to build custom reports that allow our Learning and Development team to more easily track learner progress.
Pros
Course Creation
Quick reporting tools
Great Auto-enrollment rules
Cons
Analyze could be easier to learn for new adopters of the software
Some of the features are hard to find or understand
The software can seem slow sometimes

We have used Absorb LMS to build our entire LMS library, It has been great in helping us track which courses are failed by our users the most, so we can look at making our content easier to learn. It helps us track the time it takes for our learners to complete the courses which can also show us where we can maybe invite user feedback to better or streamline our courses.
When we first started out building our Library some core features weren't used which could have made the LMS even better for us. It would be nice if future users had a better explanation upfront of what all the features can do to help them.

We utilize Absorb LMS to streamline our training processes across all retail locations nationally. With 800+ employees working remotely, Absorb LMS helps centralize training content for the de-centralized workforce, assess learning outcomes effectively, and, most importantly, track progress with automated reporting and progress reporting to functional managers at any desired cadence. Our use case includes delivering onboarding programs, product knowledge training, compliance training, and ongoing skills development. With Absorb LMS, we can enhance employee performance and drive business success through continuous learning and development.
Pros
Intuitive UI/UX for easy system on-boarding
Customization features which allow dashboards and reporting to be customized to business needs.
Single source of truth for remote employees looking for guidance in product or process
Cons
The ability to generate learner-specific, real-time dashboards with advanced filters and visual representations would provide greater insights into training effectiveness and learner performance.
While Absorb LMS offers mobile access, further optimizing the mobile user/admin interface would cater to the modern workforce's mobile learning needs more effectively.
Implementing AI technologies to provide personalized learning paths based on individual learner data and performance metrics could up the perception of modernism for users

Absorb LMS is suitable for organizations that offer a mix of in-person and online learning experiences. Its support for blended learning approaches, including virtual instructor-led training (VILT) and video module integrations, caters to organizations looking to deliver comprehensive training initiatives across different modalities that begin online but finalize in person.
We use Absorb to deliver online and scheduled training to employees within our dealer network. The platform hosts various training modules, ranging from technical to soft skills.
Pros
Uploading of course material.
Has a great knowledge bank to refer to.

Cons
I believe the reporting side of things could be done a lot better.

Anyone looking for an easy-to-use platform that translates across all specialties will enjoy this program.
We utilize the Absorb LMS to deliver required training and supplemental trainings to our 2500+ corporate/retail/warehouse employees across the globe. We wanted to have a user-friendly, engaging solution that would be easy to use and would encourage self-development and exploration of our training modules. It had to connect to our HRIS System (Workday) and have reporting tools available to managers across the business.
Pros
Usability - Both the User and Admin Experience is so simple and intuitive. The admin tools are clearly defined and laid out, yet the functionality makes it still powerful.
Integration - We used the Scheduled Data Imports and Exports to connect with our HRIS tool. After the initial configuration, it has worked reliably and gives me all the custom data I need to make assignments and reporting a breeze.
Design - I know it's covered a little bit in the Usability above, but the site just looks fantastic. There are a lot of options to customize and fit your branding requirements and all of the thumbnails/posters/billboards/etc give a very visual and appealing look to the LMS. Much better than I've seen in other products.
Cons
Reporting - The out of the box reporting is a little cumbersome when trying to view more than one course at a time.
Completed courses disappear from catalog - I know there is a setting, but it's also connected to the My Courses display so its either all or nothing. Would love to see that option split up
Training History does not show inactive courses - To keep an accurate training history, courses cannot be deactivated or else the records disappear to the user.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's good for medium to large-sized companies that want an engaging and easy-to-use platform while still maintaining powerful admin tools. It might be too expensive for a smaller company that might not use all of the functionality.
We use Absorb LMS to deliver eLearning content to all our employees.
Pros
integration with Storyline courses
Robust reporting capabilities
Engaging user interface
Cons
Multiple language equivalencies
SMTP support
Hierarchy built into reporting
Likelihood to Recommend
Absorb LMS has been a great tool to use for our yearly company training courses. The course buildouts work seamlessly with our exports. This is the first year we have offered company-wide training in Absorb LMS, and overall the change curve has been relatively flat - our users have adapted to the platform without much trouble. We do not use the e-commerce tools, so those feel a bit unnecessary and cumbersome for our needs.

We use LMS for training, communication, survey, etc. Specially OSHA compliance EHS Training and Refresher training are executed through LMS, and we utilize training records for verification.
Pros
Compliance training with e-signature.
Video Training material.
Certification process.
OJT process.
Cons
Delaying enrollment of the course.
Not complete status.
Likelihood to Recommend
It would be good for a company that has a solid training plan in advance to implement LMS. Without any training plan, the system is not useful.
