Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have recently started using EchoSpan's 360 tool for some of our leaders. Currently using a "pull" methodology in which leaders or departments use if they are interested. Purpose is to get our people feedback on what they're doing well and what they need to work on.

Pros

Competency library is robust - includes pretty much any competency that you would need
Excellent customer service, both online (demonstrations of how to) and via phone/email
Completely customizable - different targets can have different competencies, rater types, rating scales, etc.

Cons

It took us a little while to figure out how to set up a 360 (we didn't watch the demo videos until later), but once we did, it was very easy to use.

Likelihood to Recommend

I can't imagine a scenario where it is less appropriate than any other 360 tool. It's easy to use, customizable, and inexpensive. Reports are easy to interpret. Great tool for anyone looking to implement a new 360.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for team building and for leadership programs as initial assessment. We will use it across the organization when asked and have facilitators in house ready to debrief the assessment. So far, the facilitators have found the assessments easy to follow for this purpose.

Pros

EchoSpan was extremely supportive in the initial training portion and is extremely quick to offer support when required.
Filled our request for customization and were easy to work with.
Excellent on-line training videos

Cons

It would be beneficial if the system automatically reported if an email was returned because of an incorrect address.

Likelihood to Recommend

As a 360 assessment it rates very well when compared to our previous vendor. 360-Degree Feedback is more affordable so it allows departments to avail themselves of the opportunity to help their team members learn more about themselves, which would have been cost-prohibitive with our previous vendor.

The support department has been FANTASTIC! Quick responses on all any small issues and easy to work with for customizing templates. The system allows us to add rater groups and increase the group sizes easily.
