Terrible to work with
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We provide software and web development services to a healthcare organisation within the UK and they have their current website and database hosted within Sungard's infrastructure.
As their web developer, we needed access to the server in order to deploy updates to their website software. This has so far taken us 6 months of back and forth with their support team and we are still no closer to gaining the access we need to our client's server, despite the client having initiated this request themselves.
Pros
- Security - no-one can access your systems, even you!
Cons
- Convoluted support systems.
- Obstructive bureaucracy.
- Inflexible support personnel/policies unable to do what it takes to get the job done.
Likelihood to Recommend
I honestly can't think of any that couldn't be better served by Azure.
