Udacity is great for working professionals who want to continue their education by learning relevant technical job skills. The platform offers a well-produced content library with new courses added regularly. Overall, Udacity is best suited for individuals who need to gain technical industry experience and certifications in order to better perform in their workplaces. Udacity is a very valuable resource, however, I would not recommend it for all organizations - as there are more cost-friendly options on the market.
Enrolling is very easy and [accessible], courses are varied and quite intriguing, the specifics of every course given are quite useful for current businesses because you can educate your colleagues or your team through this tool and hit the ground running. This is very simple, online courses are super easy to access and very well programmed. The speed of the courses is also [adequate].
Practical exercises and projects definitely helps you understand how you may apply the skills and knowledge in real-world projects.
Strong Community where people are generally friendly and helpful for answering questions. Udacity has also made an effort to encourage engagement between all the people who are taking the same courses.
You can watch a video, access reading materials and attempt an exercise without leaving the Udacity environment which is definitely a plus for me.
Udemy for Business is my first preference for Understanding basic concepts of latest technology
Udemy for Business provides curated content for diverse use cases across technology, business, strategy, etc. It helps improve the process of decision making
As a product manager, I prefer permanent solutions over quick fixes. Referring to Udemy for Business courses on product management has helped me greatly to improve my product
Stakeholder management is an important aspect of any business and there are amazing content in Udemy for Business that helps master this art
One of the biggest problems of this platform is the credibility of their certificates because they are not endorsed and don't have the support of a university as other platforms do.
Anyone can upload a course, so sometimes you will have a bunch of options, but you really don’t know which one is the best for you among all of them.
Another thing that I don’t like about Udemy is that the platform is not very well organized, everything looks crowded.
For the most part, site usability is great. I would say the only shortcoming from my end was when I needed support. Support responses were typically very slow, the few times I needed it.
First, creating custom courses was super easy and intuitive (unlike with their main competitor). Second, using Udemy to take courses was also intuitive and simple. Finally, though, the kicker for what makes Udemy super useful is its reporting and analytics. Again, Udemy's main competitor surprisingly lacks a ton of features related to reporting. I miss Udemy!
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Udemy Business’s availability as a 9. The platform is highly reliable, offering on-demand access to courses anytime and anywhere, with very few reports of unplanned outages or application errors. Its robust infrastructure supports 24/7 learning for global teams, and users consistently praise its uptime and accessibility, though occasional minor issues may occur
On a scale of 1-10, Udemy Business’s performance rates around 9. Pages and course content typically load quickly, and reports are generated in a reasonable timeframe, even for complex data. The platform’s integrations with other systems generally do not cause noticeable slowdowns, and users consistently praise its responsive interface and reliable speed for both learners and administrators
I didn't personally have any issues with the program, but scheduling time to review the final project was easy, and the assistant was pleasant to work with.
I haven't had to contact Udemy for Business for support reasons. I gave a 10 here because of it's availability across numerous platforms: Web, Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, even smart-tv apps make it trivially convenient to do some learning wherever you are. This helps my reports engage better with their learning, especially if they prefer to defer the training until the couch at home after work. It just makes for great user experience.
fter purchasing Udemy Business, you can rate courses using a star system and leave feedback. Courses maintain a high-quality standard with a minimum average rating of 4.4 out of 5. These ratings help organizations and learners assess the effectiveness of the training hence it we are making sure the online material will help us onboard better and set it up better. there will be room for improvement but I am sure the Udemy product team will do well
mplementing Udemy Business typically involves setting up your organization’s account, integrating the platform with your existing systems, and customizing learning paths to align with business goals. Administrators can create tailored learning journeys by combining Udemy courses, custom content, and external resources, making it easy to onboard teams or upskill employees for specific projects. The process is supported by an intuitive user interface, seamless system integration, and access to customer success partners who help ensure your learning programs are effective and aligned with organizational objectives. Analytics and reporting tools provide actionable insights to monitor engagement and adjust learning strategies as needed, resulting in a flexible and impactful workforce development solution
Skillsoft has been utilized and powered by enterprise organizations while Udacity is more of a side benefit and not requiring much commitment to signup for. Skillsoft has more material in terms of e-books and videos to go through while Udacity is more to use while someone is ready and have been familiar with the topic already. We have Udacity a lot due to efficiency in terms of getting set up right away on individual use.
It has diverse content as it has various advance courses and various learning paths which our organization needs, it was cost-effective and helps in scalability and have a better UI as compared to others , it has a feature of on-demand access, it keeps a record of courses left and courses used, etc.
On a scale of 1-10, Udemy Business rates a strong 9 for overall scalability. Its enterprise-ready features, such as customizable learning paths, advanced group management, API integrations, and multi-language support, enable seamless deployment across departments and global sites. The platform is designed to grow with organizational needs, supporting both small teams and large enterprises efficiently
Taking the courses I took allowed me to list skills on my resume that have opened up conversations on jobs where previously I could not even have a discussion.
Udemy for Business easily pays for itself compared to traditional training solutions. Given the breadth of courses it offers, it will make up its costs in short order.
My team is more engaged with learning, now having a large and "freely" available library of course content. This enables them to explore and learn at their own pace, which is a huge benefit to the company - they are always learning things that could be applicable in the future.
As I mentioned before, I'd caution against Udemy for Business in settings where the students will need to ask a lot of question or get some immediate feedback. It can be challenging for students approaching a new skill to do so without real-time support.
