Moogsoft vs. TrueSight Operations Management (discontinued)

Moogsoft is a very good event management tool that not only fulfills the event handling requirement but on top of it does the following: 1. Event Handling from multiple data sources. 2. Scalable solution and includes multi-tenancy 3. Out-of-the-box integrations and customized options are available. 4. AIOps and ML capabilities. 5. Cost optimized solution

I'm using Entuity, and using BMC Operations Management to manage events is a must. Assign, acknowledging, close events, send notifications, and use REST API for external/internal connectors is a big plus! However, I'll not recommend it for small companies, due to the infrastructure and the huge amount of features it has.

Moogsoft has the similar capabilities as of SPLUNK, MuleSoft and ServiceNow however it's a unique product in terms of its internal functioning and application framework. While ServiceNow is a SaaS application Moogsoft on the other side comes with On-Prem as well as SaaS offering which gives pretty much flexibility in choosing the right solution as per the customer requirement.

We have done extensive comparisons between the products and some where quickly eliminated for lacking functionality or support for key technologies. The features that really pushed TrueSight to the top over other full suites from CA, ScienceLogic, SolarWinds, HP, Foglight and IBM was a mix of deal-breaking gaps for us in areas including support of iSeries, QoS reporting, integration options to other platforms and advanced analytics with event management
