Zscaler Data Security is a cloud-delivered platform built to safeguard an organization's sensitive data. It locates sensitive data, understands its risk exposure, and secures sensitive data across the web, email, workloads, private apps, and BYOD endpoints.
Company data leaking can lead to huge losses. That's why I recommend all my colleagues and any other business person to implement McAfee Total Protection for DLP to gain visibility in data and initiate policy violations that block and encrypt data that's against those policies.
For a large company with lots of data it is a fantastic solution and much needed. This is probably not suited for very small organizations as it might be overkill. Organizations with lots of sensitive data such as PII, federal agencies or health care will greatly benefit from this product.
McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention is a robust tool for scanning network traffic, searching for sensitive company information, and enforcing policies on all data sources, but it lacks enough tutorials for all the features to guide users when using it.
The DLP dictionary functions need to be expanded upon, such as matching all regex patterns with any phrases and vice versa. The only way to do this today is to create two dictionaries and then use an engine to combine them; however, this approach loses the ability to utilize proximity.

No matter whether the data resides at your on-prem, cloud, or any workload or at the data center, Zscaler has a foolproof mechanism to protect it at any cost with zero tolerance. Also, Zscaler Data Protection has a perfect UI for deploying, managing, and maintaining our different kinds of environments. (e.g., On-Prem or Hybrid).
McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention offers multiple modules such as DLP discover, monitor, and prevent among others that make it a robust tool to implement on all DPL scenarios. On the other hand, Paubox Email Suite focuses more on email data loss protection.
Zscaler Data protection must be used in conjunction with other Zscaler tools where the others are stand alone. It is mainly the cost that drove us to look at Zscaler's product again, although, we do still use Proof point for DLP and email security
