Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) helps IT professionals reduce legacy infrastructure and costs by eliminating the need for print servers. Vasion Print delivers a highly available Serverless Printing Infrastructure built on our centrally managed direct IP printing platform.
Before I talk about how good Vasion Print is, I would like to highlight how poor TrustRadius site is. In the previous question, it asked me to identify other companies or products evaluated. Of the four other companies, which were all in the top 10, only one was available to …
PaperCut actually has more features and works better than Vasion Print from a copier standpoint. In my opinion, where Vasion Print works better though is that it had better compatibility for our Apple Mac users. It also has a cool feature that lets you place printers on a map, …
Vasion Print was already selected before I became an engineer in this group, so I don't have any insight into the previous situation. I do know that there were a LOT of Help Desk calls around printing because that is why a project was initiated in the first place to try to …
Vasion Print has made deployments and printer management seamless and easy. Arguably it is the best quality they have to easily deploy and service your end users with their printing solutions. This has toppled other competitors and allowed us to have a more streamlined printing …
Vision Print is a much simpler deployment and a better fit for our use case.

While I did tend to like the more in-depth reporting capabilities provided by Paper Cut, the overall ease of use, functionality, and Rapid deployment capabilities of Vasion Print heavily outweighs the perceived benefits of other printer Management Solutions offered by different …
The overall support from Vasion is top notch. However, i would recommend them to scaleup their workforce a bit. Compared to the other vendor, the support is excellent and all the users, to be precise 90k are happy with this product. It has eased our lives in multiple ways, …
Pricing was better than all 3 competitors' proposals. Offered more features for all in one pricing instead of separating multiple features to jack up the price. The solution is owned and maintained solely in house minus the product updates. Consistently available no matter …
I have not used any other products like Vasion Print. We looked into Papercut before Vasion Print was recommended but didn't like what we saw when we compared the two products. Ultimately we went with Vasion Print because of its user friendly environment and scalability. It …

At the time, there were no other products like Vasion Print on the market, so when I tried to compare them, there was no comparison. I still have not come across another product with the same capabilities as Vasion Print. Now, I have not actively looked at it, as it is meeting …
The other companies that we tested didn't really stack up as it required a lot more devices to manage the print services. would have been more work to implement than Vasion Print and added more complexity to the environment.
Implementation when moving from on site print servers to Vasion Print was super easy and very simple to do. Seems well suited for any sized organization that doesn't want to have to manage print servers any longer. Other than adding and retireing printers from the system many of our other printer issues have largely gone away. Unless you are a very small organization with only a few printers I can't think of a situation where Vasion Print wouldn't be helpful.
We would like to move all of our print accounting into Vasion Print, but there are some features we use in Pharos that Vasion is still building out.
The repository can get a little unwieldy if too many people are adding drivers. An internal check to see if a driver for a particular printer is already available would be a nice feature.
Direct authenticated release of print jobs from the printer device would be a nice feature.
Hands down one of our best investments for our IT staff. This has saved so much time and frustration and it well worth the cost. If the budget starts to gets tight, this is one of the last things we would cut out. We also purchased this through our copy machine vendor so it's nice that the charge is integrated with our copy machines lease
The limitation for the map/location of devices. Wished there were more features to customize this both the list and the map was more interactive for users. I think users would appreciate that more. Everything else from an IT Tech perspective, gets the job done. No real complaints for this management tool for printers/copiers.
A colleague has reported a performance issue with loading printer profiles on Edge. It sometimes takes a very long time to come up, and sometimes not at all, but he switches over to Chrome, and the interface comes up very quickly. This might be a fringe case, since I am able to launch the same profile on Edge browser without any problems.
Whenever I've contacted Vasion Print support the responses are always rapid and thorough. The support staff is knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions I have. Most of the time we needed support was at the beginning of our implementation. Our account rep as well as technical support were skilled and responsive.
